Indian Air Force (IAF) is going to end the AFCAT 2022 registration tomorrow i.e. December 30, 2021. The application process commenced on December 01, 2021, and only those who are Graduates were eligible to apply for this examination. As per the information brochure, those who submit the duly filled AFCAT 2022 application form will be issued admit card by the concerned authorities.
The detailed notification has listed 317 vacancies for the Flying branch and Ground duties, the entrance examination of which shall be conducted on February 12 to 14, 2022 in multiple sessions. It is also notified that the admit card for the written exam is going to be released by January 28, 2022.
The brochure released earlier stated that the age limit for Flying Branch is 20 to 24 years whereas the same for Ground Duty is 20 to 26 years. Other than this, the candidate should be a Graduate having studied PCM in 10+2 and passed it with at least 60% marks.
Candidates can consider the following steps while filling the AFCAT 2022 registration form correctly:
Step 1: Visit the official website of the Indian Air Force, afcat.cdac.in
Step 2: On the homepage, click on New Registrations and enter the applicant’s name, mobile number, email id, parent’s name, etc and next click on the signup button
Step 3: After this, enter other details such as Visible Identification Mark, CPSS/ PABT Status, Aadhar Card number, gender, marital status, date of birth as prescribed in the class 10th certificate, flying license number, class 10 and 12th details, address, course opted for and move to the upload section
Step 4: Next, upload the scanned copies of the image, signature, and thumb impression in the prescribed limit and move to the fee payment section.
Step 5: Finally, pay the application fee admissible to the candidate’s category either by online mode or challan mode and submit the AFCAT 2022 application form
The prescribed size limit to upload the scanned image, photograph, and thumb impression is 10kb to 50kb. Along with this, an application fee equivalent to INR 250 is admissible to candidates who belong to the General, OBC/SC/ST category whereas the NCC candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.
