Yesterday i.e. March 06, 2019, Indian Air Force (IAF) has announced the AFCAT 2019 Result at afcat.cdac.in. The result was announced for the AFCAT and EKT examination held on February 16, 17, 2019. The AFCAT Result is accessible in the Candidate Login Section on the website. Through the result, IAF only told that, if a candidate has cleared the exam or not. The individual score and cut off marks of the candidates will be shown on the website once the examination for Jammu Kashmir will over.
Air Force has canceled the examination for Jammu Kashmir, of February 17, 2019, for the center code of 222, 223, 224, 225. And IAF is also giving the chance to the candidates who couldn’t appear for the examination on February 16, 2019. As of now, there are no dates for the re-examination for Jammu Kashmir division.
The qualifiers of the AFCAT 01/2019 examination will be called for the Air Force Selection Board (AFSB). The shortlisted candidates for AFSB round have to first choose the examination center from the 4 cities namely; Dehradun, Mysore, Gandhinagar, and Varanasi. The candidates who have applied for flying branch those have to select any one center among Dehradun, Mysore, and Varanasi cities. The candidates who will complete the examination center selection process within the given time limit for those call-up letters for AFSB will be issued. The call-up letter will be made available on the official website.
The AFSB test will be conducted for 4-5 days. AFSB will mainly consist of 2 stages that are Picture Perception and discussion test (stage 1), Psychological test (stage 2) but the candidates who have applied for the post of the flying branch those have to appear for the flying branch test. The candidates who will be called for the AFSB Interview those have to also produce documents for verification on that day.
The candidates who will qualify the AFSB those will be called for the medical examination. Medical Examination will be either conducted at Air Force Central Medical Establishment (AFCME), New Delhi or Institute of Aviation Medicine, Bengaluru. After the completion of the medical examination, Indian Air Force (IAF) will prepare and release the All India Merit List. The merit list will be made available on the official website. The AFCAT 2019 Merit List will be based on the overall performance of the candidates in the tests.
