Candidates who qualify the test have to choose the date and venue of SSB interview from October 21 to 25, 2020. The SSB interviews are scheduled to be conducted from November 14, 2020.

Indian Air Force conducts the AFCAT exam twice a year for recruitment of eligible candidates to flying and non-flying branches of the defence wing. While the first cycle (01/2020) of AFCAT recruitment already concluded earlier this year, IAF conducted the online tests for the second cycle (02/2020) in October 2020. The results are now available at the official website indicating the individual score of qualifiers and their selection status. The score is calculated against AFCAT total marks of 300 for the main exam and 150 for EKT. Reportedly, the cut-offs for AFCAT exam has gone up from 153 in AFCAT 01/2020 to 155 in AFCAT 02/2020. On the other hand, cut-offs for EKT has remained the same at 40 this time as it was in AFCAT 01/2020.

Candidates must note that similar to earlier trends, the IAF has released the AFCAT result through the Candidate Login option available at afcat.cdac.in. The option is available at the top right of the dashboard on AFCAT website. After clicking on Candidate Login, one has to select the cycle, i.e. 02/2020 for which, the result was released yesterday. Thereafter, the login page appears where candidates have to furnish the registered email ID and password to be able to retrieve the result. These are the same email ID and password generated during the online application process of AFCAT 02/2020.

AFCAT 02/2020 individual scorecards and selection status are available now for qualifiers through individual candidate login. Once candidates have checked their score and selection status, the next step is the selection of date and venue for SSB interviews. As per the official website, the SSB interviews for course commencing in July 2021 are scheduled to commence on November 14, 2020. AFCAT 02/2020 qualifiers have to select date and venue of SSB rounds starting from 11.00 AM of October 21 to 11.00 AM of October 25 at the official website. Candidates will receive call letters for the SSB rounds after choosing the date & venue and filling up bank details for travel allowances.
