XLRI has announced XAT 2019 Result on January 16, 2019. It has come as quite a surprise to XAT test takers as result was actually supposed to be out on January 31, 2019. Now candidates who appeared in exam can login with XAT ID and password to check result, download score card. This activity can be performed only until March 31, 2019.
XLRI has also published shortlist for interview. Shortlisted candidates can appear in subsequent process to claim a seat in two-year full time programmes of Business Management (BM), Human Resource Management (HRM), fifteen month program general management program (GMP).
Official website of XAT 2019 is xatonline.in. Here, topmost red bar for notification has a running message that says “The Candidate Score Card for XAT 2019 is live. Click on ‘Login’ to check.“.
Login link can be accessed from last link in menu. At candidate login, candidates need to enter User ID and Password, click login button, to check result. In the event that one has forgotten password, they can retrieve it by clicking forgot password button on same page.
XAT 2019 Score Card consists of name of candidate, gender, date of birth, address, XAT ID, date of test, validity of score card, percentage scored in each section, percentile scored in each section, overall percentage, overall percentile. Candidates have been scored for Quantitative Ability, Verbal and Logical Ability, Decision Making.
In order to check XLRI Shortlist 2019, candidates have to go to acad.xlri.ac.in/results/shortlist/. Here, one has to select program name from drop-down. Then enter their XAT ID and click submit button. Status of whether one is shortlisted or not appears on screen. This link was not visible on home page of XLRI at time of publishing this news, however candidates claim that they are able to login and see some result.
XLRI will conduct interview for PGDM (HRM, BM, GMP) candidates through XAT and GMAT in February-March 2019 at Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai and Jamshedpur.
Score card of XAT 2019 shall remain valid until December 31, 2019. This means that candidates can seek admission in colleges accepting XAT scores until this date. For admission on any later date, one shall have to appear in XAT of that year.
XAT Result does not reveal raw score. However, prior to results, XLRI had issued answer keys and responses. Candidates have been able to calculate their raw score using them. Marks scored in General Awareness have not been taken into consideration to calculate result. Nevertheless, it is used for final selection process at XLRI. Other associate institutes may or may not use them.
Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2019 was conducted on January 6, 2019, from 10 AM to 1 PM at Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Amritsar, Bengaluru, Berhampur, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Coimbatore, Cuttack, Dehradun, Delhi, Goa, Greater Noida, Gurgaon (Gurugram), Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Jabalpur, Jaipur, Jammu, Jamshedpur, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mangalore, Mumbai, Nagpur, Nasik, Noida, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Ranchi, Rourkela, Sambalpur, Surat, Tiruchirapalli, Trivandrum, Udaipur, Vadodara, Varanasi, Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam.
