The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to declare the Class 10 results soon. However, the Board has not made any official announcement regarding the same yet. But, as per various speculations, it is very likely for the Board to make an official statement regarding the date and time of the Class 10 results any time today.
Earlier, the results were supposed to be declared by July 20 but the Board failed to do so as some schools had to revise the marks. The submission of the final marks by most of the schools has been completed by July 24. On July 23, the Board has asked approximately 500 schools to moderate their results as the awarded marks fell into the higher spectrum. Once these schools submit the revised marks, the Board might consider another round of moderation before releasing the results. However, there are still many schools that are yet to submit their marks. As a result, the Board has now suggested that it might withhold the results of these schools while releasing the ones for the remaining schools.
A CBSE official has said that the entire process of evaluating the results this year is quite new to almost every school. Consequently, it might take some time to come up with the final results.
Further, the Board has advised the students, guardians and teachers to not trust any notification that is not published on cbse.nic.in. As per some reports, CBSE is making every arrangement to declare the results by July 31 as the preparation is going through the final stages. Once the results are out, they will be available on the official website cbse.nic.in and other unofficial websites. Alternatively, students can also check their results via DigiLocker and Umang apps.
As of now, many schools are making arrangements for sending the CBSE Class 10 roll numbers to the students via SMSs and emails. This is essential because, in order to check the results once they are out, the roll numbers must be kept handy. There will not be any publication of merit lists this year. Soon after the declaration of the results, the students will be eligible to take admission in Class 11. However, many schools have already begun their classes for Class 11. In case a student wants to seek admission for Class 11 in a college, then they have to wait until the results are out.
