Women & Child Development Department is inviting applications for recruitment to 121 posts of Anganwadi staff. The vacancies are under the administrative control of the Integrated Children Development Scheme (ICDS) in the district of Mahisagar, Gujarat. WCD has published a detailed recruitment notification containing the important terms and conditions of recruitment and other important information such as post details and eligibility conditions. As per the notification, there are 121 vacancies in the Mahisagar district of Gujarat. The vacancies are under the ICDS and only open for female candidates who are domiciled in the district. WCD is recruiting for the posts of Anganwadi Worker and Anganwadi Helper under the district ICDS. Among the 121 vacancies, 68 vacancies are for the post of Anganwadi Workers. The rest of the 53 vacancies are available for the post of Anganwadi Helper. Candidates who meet the complete eligibility criteria can apply for the recruitment under the ICDS. Therefore, interested candidates are advised to go through the detailed recruitment notification and ensure that they comply with the eligibility norms before applying online.
The selection of the eligible candidates is to be done on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying exam and through final interviews. The minimum educational qualification required to apply for the aforementioned posts is specified in the official notification. Female candidates who have passed the Class 12th exam are eligible to apply for recruitment to the post of Anganwadi Worker. On the other hand, female candidates who have passed the Class 10th exam are eligible to apply for the post of Anganwadi Helper. In addition, the maximum and minimum age of the applicants is also specified and applicants must be within these specified age limitations in order to apply. The minimum age if the applicants must be 18 years as on the last date of receipt of applications by online submission. This is the cut-off date. On the other hand, the maximum age of the applicants must not be more than 33 years as on the cut-off date. However, candidates are advised to tally with the official notification regarding any relaxations on the upper age limit for candidates belonging to specially reserved categories.
