Department of Women and Child Development (WCD), Karnataka has released an official notification for the recruitment of Anganwadi Worker and Anganwadi Helper. The recruitment is announced for Bengaluru Rural district. The conducting body has advertised 63 vacancies for the said posts. Aspirants can apply online from August 05, 2020, to September 05, 2020. Applications from only female candidates are invited. Their age should be within the age limit of 18 years to 35 years while applying. To apply for Anganwadi Worker posts, candidates must have passed 12th standard. Candidates who have minimum educational qualification of 4th standard to 9th standard can submit their forms for Anganwadi Helper. WCD Department conducts the application procedure for Anganwadi recruitment through online mode. Eligible candidates have to visit anganwadirecruit.kar.nic.in. To fill the form, candidates must select the district and post they wish to apply for and tap on ‘submit’. Candiates are supposed to register themselves first by providing the contact number and email address. Here they also have to upload images of their birth certificate, market, valid residential certificate, the image of photograph and signature. For the size and format of the documents, refer to the official website. Candidates are advised to carefully enter the ICDS project, Anganwadi centre they are applying for, name of the ward, residence certificate number, address of communication and their contact number. For future reference, candidates must keep print out of the filled application form.
Along with the application form, candidates have to submit 12th pass scorecard as a birth certificate, specific qualification scorecard one year residence certificate from the Tehsildar/ Deputy Tehsildar, Death certificate of husband (for widow), disability certificate, Divorce certificate, an affidavit from Tehsildar. Children of Former Devdasi has to furnish a list of former Devdasi survey of Karnataka State Women Development Corporation.
The selection procedure for Anganwadi Recruitment includes the screening of the applications form. The selection committee reviews the application submitted by the application based on the eligibility norms. The list of the eligible candidates who are approved by the selection committee will be available from September 11, 2020 to September 16, 2020. In case, candidates are not satisfied with the provisional selection list, they can submit their objections for the same by September 30, 2020. After the review, the final selection list gets published on the website by October 01, 2020. Candidates are advised to regularly visit the official website to get the recent updates.
