West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company Limited (WBSETCL) has today, December 15, 2021, released a recruitment notification for two posts. These two posts are –Junior Executive (Stores), and Junior Engineer (Elect.) Gr. – II. While the former comprises 14 vacancies, the latter shall cover a total of 400 vacancies. WBSETCL has also begun inviting online applications for both posts, subject to fulfilling certain eligibility criteria. Interested and eligible candidates are instructed to fill the online application form on wbsetcl.in.
As per the official notification, the WBSETCL Recruitment 2021 application process shall take place from December 15, 2021, to January 05, 2022. This notification contains limited information about the recruitment drive. So, for details regarding eligibility criteria, registration process, selection process, and much more. So, before applying, candidates are advised to go through these specifications.
Age-related criteria however have already been specified in the WBSETCL Recruitment 2021 notification. Accordingly, candidates who are between the ages of 18 and 32, as of January 01, 2021. However, age-related relaxation will be applicable, as prescribed by the state government of West Bengal.
The WBSETCL Recruitment 2021 drive will comprise three important stages – 1. Computer-based test or online exam, 2. Personal round of interview, and 3. Pre-employment medical examination. Only after qualifying each of these stages will a candidate be inducted to fill up a particular vacancy.
Those who clear all rounds of WBSETCL Recruitment 2021 will be given a pay-package equivalent to the vacancy. For the position of Junior Executive (Stores), the pay scale will range from Rs.37,400 to Rs. 1,08,200. Similarly, for the position of Junior Engineer (Elect.) Gr.II, the pay-scale will lie between Rs. 36800 and Rs. 1,06,700.
To apply for the WBSETCL Recruitment 2021 however, candidates will have to complete the online application process on wbsetcl.in. For doing so, aspirants will have to pay a certain amount as an application fee. In the case of Junior Executive (Stores), the fee amount is Rs.400. Whereas for the post of Junior Engineer (Elect.) Gr.II, the application fee is Rs.300. However, reserved categories like SC, ST, and PwD are not required to pay this amount. Only unreserved or general category candidates have to pay this amount.
In the case of the WBSETCL Recruitment 2021 drive, candidates need to complete all the online registration formalities on or before January 05, 2022. These formalities include filling up the application form, uploading the required documents including caste certificate, proof of birth, education certificates, etc. And finally, pay the application fee before printing a copy of the confirmation page.
