The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education(WBCHSE) has released a press release concerning the final result of the Class 12th Exams. According to the press release the HS result will be available on July 22, 2021, at 3 PM via a press conference conducted at the Rabindra Milan Mancha, 7th floor of the Vidyasagar Bhavan of the Council. In addition to the websites, the candidates who have registered themselves for the Higher Secondary exam can also use the SMS/Mobile App facility to check the result.
The press release also has a list of the different websites that can be used to check the WB Intermediate Results. The top websites names are wbresults.nic.in
Results.Shiksha, indiaresults.com , jagranjosh.com, technoindiagroup.com , abpananda.abplive.in, news18bangla.com and apbeducation.com. The Class 12th results will be also available on the mobile app of Shiksha i.e. results.shiksha.
Along with this, the board has also released three numbers that can be used to get the result via SMS. The candidates have to simply create a message with a body ( SMS WB12 space and send it to 56070/5676750/56263). The candidates can also pre-register themselves on exametc.com to get results free over SMS.
For those candidates who will resort to the official websites for checking the result the steps are very simple. The candidates can simply visit any of the websites listed on the press release. Post this, they should find the WBCHSC Higher Secondary Result 2021 Link. Upon clicking the same they will be redirected to a new page wherein they have to enter Roll Number, Registration Number, and click on Submit button. The final result along with the scorecard will be displayed on the next page. The candidates can save a copy of the same on their devices.
The council has also mentioned that the hardcopy of the mark sheets of all the candidates who have registered themselves for the Higher Secondary Exam will be available by July 23, 2021, from 3 PM onwards. The council has requested that all the school heads must collect the mark sheets from the respective distribution camps.
Earlier in June, the Council cancelled the Class 10th and 12th examination citing the surge in the Covid cases. Post this, a new evaluation criterion was released according to which 40% weightage will be given to the marks obtained in the marks of class 10th. While 60% weightage will be given to the subject wise marks of the Class XIth and internal exams of class 12th. As per the recent data around 8.5 lakh students have registered themselves for the WB Intermediate Exams 2021.
