National Testing Agency (NTA) has postponed the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) i.e. JEE Main 2021 exam for 3rd session. NTA has released an official notification regarding the postponement of the JEE Main 2021 3rd session exam on its official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. Now, the JEE Main 2021 3rd session exam is scheduled to be conducted on July 20, 22, 25 and 27, 2021. However, the last date, July 27, 2021, is clashing with the exam date of JEE Main 2021 4th session exam. So, students are demanding the postponement of the JEE Main 2021 4th session exam.
Earlier the JEE Main 2021 4th session exam was scheduled to be conducted on July 27, 2021. But, as per the revised schedule of JEE Main 2021 3rd session exam, the last date of the 3rd session exam is the same as that of the 4th session exam. So, it is considered that the National Testing Agency (NTA) will definitely postpone the JEE Main 2021 4th session exam. The admit card for the 3rd session exam has already been released on the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA). The admit card for the JEE Main 2021 exam of 4th session will be released separately.
Candidates are demanding that the dates of 4th session should be decided in such a way that they get enough time after 3rd session to prepare for the same. Though, NTA has not clarified anything about the exam dates of JEE Main 2021 4th session.
The application forms for JEE Main 2021 4th session have been released on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. Recently, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the last date to apply for the 4th session to July 14, 2021. But there are chances that the last date to apply might extend as authorities have not yet finalized the exam dates.
JEE Main 2021 3rd session exam will be conducted in CBT mode i.e. Computer Based Test mode. About 07,09,519 candidates have registered for the JEE Main 2021 3rd session exam. The 3rd session exam will be conducted in India as well as in other countries making the total count of 334 cities that are participating to conduct the exam. NTA has advised that candidates should be present at least an hour before the exam at the exam center. Also, with respect to all the covid-19 guidelines, candidates must wear masks properly and should bring a small sanitiser bottle while going for the exam.
