Water Resources Management Department, Manipur has released a notification regarding the recruitment of Project Manager, Hydrologist, GIS Expert, Account cum Cashier, Road Mohorrir, Peon and Sweeper. As per the notification, the conducting body has advertised 08 vacancies for the announced posts. Aspirants interested in the recruitment can download the notification from the official website, manipur.gov.in. The walk-in-interview is scheduled to be conducted from September 22, 2020 to September 24, 2020.
As per the notification, the conducting body has decided to conduct the walk-in-interview for Project Manager, Hydrologist and GIS Expert on September 22, 2020, and for Accountant-cum-Cashier, Road Mohorror, Pein and Sweeper on September 23, 2020 and September 24, 2020. Candidates have to report at the venue sharp at 10:00 AM at Administrative Clock of National Sports Academy, Khuman Lampak Sports Complex, Imphal East, Manipur. The interview procedure will be concluded at 03:00 PM.
Out of the total announced vacancies, the conducting body has advertised 01 vacancies for Project Manager, 01 vacancies for Hydrologist, 01 vacancies for GIS Expert, 01 vacancies for Account cum Cashier, 01 vacancies for Road Mohorrir, 02 vacancies for Peon and 01 vacancies for Sweeper. All these posts are completely temporary and contractual in nature. The period of the service under these posts is upto 01 years.

Candidates intending to apply for Hydrologist should possess post graduate degree in Water resource/ hydrology/ hydro-informatics. Those who have a bachelors degree in commerce can apply for Accountant cum cashier post. Candidates who have passed 10th class are eligible to apply for Road Mohorrir, Peon and Sweeper.
Moreover, the conducting body is in search of experienced candidates for the advertised post. Those who have a minimum of 02 years of experience in managing projects can apply for Project Manager post. Those who have a minimum of one year experience in Hydrological modelling can apply for Hydrologist. Candidates with at least 02 years experience in the relevant field are eligible for GIS Expert. Minimum 05 years of work experience is required for Accountant cum cashier post. As per the notification, no prior work experience is required for Road Monhorrir, Peon and Sweeper post.
