The slot booking process of the upcoming engineering entrance exam of the Vellore Institute of Technology has commenced today i.e. on May 17, 2021. Candidates need to do the slot booking at vit.ac.in through the Online Test Booking System (OTBS).
Whereas the official website for VITEEE is viteee.vit.ac.in, the link for slot booking through OTBS is viteee.codetantra.com/login.
To book slot, carry out the following steps:
Step-1: Go to viteee.vit.ac.in and click on the slot booking link. Or directly go to viteee.codetantra.com/login.
Step-2: Sign in with email id and password.
Step-3: Select mock test date and slot, test date and slot.
Step-4: Submit the choices.
VITEEE 2021 is scheduled to be held on May 28, 29 and 31, 2021 in the online Remote Proctor Exam (RPE) mode. Registered candidates may note that admit card for the exam can be obtained upon successful booking of the preferred slot (date and time) on the official website viteee.vit.ac.in.
With the beginning of the VITEEE 2021 slot booking process today, the issue of admit card has also commenced. As per conventions, the admit card can be downloaded after candidates have booked their exam slot for VITEEE 2021. It is issued automatically to candidates who successfully book their exam slot. It may be noted that candidates who do not book their exam slot are automatically allocated an exam slot by VIT. Such candidates will get an intimation regarding the release of the admit card on their registered email ID and mobile number.
Complete instructions for booking VITEEE 2021 exam slot is provided on the official website viiteee.vit.ac.in. It is advisable to read all the instructions carefully. It may be noted that the exam slot once booked cannot be changed. The booked date and time of the exam can be found printed on the admit card. In addition, candidates may also note that the slot booking procedure is conducted on a real-time information basis. As such, slot availability is updated every 60 seconds. This means that candidates must book and confirm their slot within a minute.
Both the slot booking process and admit card download process of VITEEE 2021 require candidate login. This means that candidates have to enter their Application Number and Password in order to login to book an exam slot or download the admit card. As soon as a candidate have booked and confirmed an exam slot, a link View my admit card is updated on the Online Test Booking System (OTBS). One must click on this link and the Admit Card is automatically displayed on screen. Candidates must check the details on the admit card and ensure that there is no printing errors or any other discrepancy.
Once the slot booking is confirmed and admit card is available, one must download it and generate a print-out for the exam date. The details of the slot booked and other essential directives are given in the admit card. Candidates who are allotted a slot by the VIT automatically have to check their registered email ID and mobile number for the download link of their VITEEE 2021 admit card.
