Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) is conducting a re-exam for VITEEE 2021 Exam today i.e June 10, 2021. Candidates who were absent or were unable to log in for the VITEEE 2021 Exam on May 28, 29 and 31, 2021 can appear for the exam. They have to log in to the VITEEE CodeTantra Website to take the examination.
The Institute conducted the VITEEE Exam 2021 on May 28, 29 and 31, 2021. However, due to some technical glitches, May 29, 2021 Slot 2 exam was rescheduled to May 30, 2021. Some candidates were unable to log in to the CodeTantra website while others were unable to connect to the server. Due to high requests for the re-conduct of VITEEE exam, the Institute has decided to conduct a re-exam. Students were sent emails in this regard on their registered email address.
Due to the re-exam, the VITEEE 2021 Result declaration process is getting delayed. As per the reports, the result for the entrance exam was expected to release in the first week of June 2021. Since students were unable to take the exam, the schedule got postponed. As of now, there has been no announcement regarding VITEEE 2021 result date.
According to the VIT helpline, the VITEEE result will be out in the second/ third week of June 2021. Unofficial resources have reportedly mentioned that VIT will announce the result on June 15, 2021. Hence, one can expect a VITEEE result between June 14, 2021, to June 19, 2021. Albeit, the Institute has not released an official notification in this regard. So, candidates are advised to regularly visit the VITEEE official website to get the latest updates.
Candidates can check their respective results through vit.ac.in and viteee.vit.ac.in. To download the VITEEE rank card, candidates require an e-mail id and password. They have to log in to check the rank, qualifying status and marks for the entrance exam. On the basis of the VITEEE result, candidates are shortlisted for the B.Tech counselling and get a seat in VIT Vellore Chennai, Bhopal, and Amravati.
It is expected that VIT Counselling will take place online due to COVID-19. Aspirants are required to log in using the credentials shared with them via emails for online counselling. They have to pay Rs. 5000/- (as per last year) as a registration fee to participate in the B.Tech counselling. As per the schedule, aspirants are required to provide the choice of VIT campuses according to their preference. The Institute will conduct several counselling rounds till seats are filled.
Each year, lakhs of candidates apply for the VITEEE exam. In the year 2019, 1-62 lakh candidates have submitted their applications for admissions. The number is increased this year. As per the resources, over 02 la students has applied for VIT Admissions.
