VITEEE 2021 Postponed to June; These Are The New Exam Dates

Vellore Institute of Technology has postponed the VITEEE 2021 Exam and now it will take place from June 18 to 26, 2021.

Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has recently postponed the VITEEE 2021 Exam. Now, the VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) will take place from June 18 to 26, 2021. VITEEE 2021 was earlier scheduled to take place in the month of April 2021. However, VIT has confirmed the exam dates online at vit.ac.in. Candidates who wish to appear for theVITEE 2021 Exam can submit their online applications before March 30, 2021. 

VIT is currently inviting the online applications for the VITEEE 2021 B.Tech Admissions. With the notification, the institute announced the entrance examination was tentatively taking place in the month from the second week of April to the third week of April 2021. However, the examination now stands postponed till the month of June 2021. 

As per the details available on the website, the VITEEE 2021 Counselling was scheduled to start from the first week of May 2021. Also, the classes were tentatively scheduled to commence from the second week of July 2021. Now that the VITEEE 2021 examination is postponed, the schedule for the counselling and class commencement may change. Students participating this year can regularly visit the VIT website to get the latest updates of the schedule. 

VITEEE 2021 Exam is a computer-based online test. The questions in the VITEEE are asked from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology and English-Aptitude. Around 125 questions are asked in the VITEEE exam. As per the exam pattern, Multiple Choice Questions are asked in the examination. Candidates have to select the correct answer as an answer out of the four options available on the screen. For every correct answer, candidates get +01 marks. However, there is no negative marking in VITEEE exam. 

Currently, VIT is accepting the online applications for the VITEEE 2021. The online registration is available from November 30, 2020, onwards. Candidates who have passed 12th class with aggregate minimum 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology can apply for VITEEE. Eligible and intending students can submit their VITEEE 2021 application form through vit.ac.in. Candidates first have to register themselves and then proceed to submit a VITEEE application form. 

While applying, candidates also have to make a payment of the requisite application fee. Those who are paying the fee through an online web browser have to pay Rs. 1150/- as the application fee. Applicants making payment through the mobile app have to pay Rs. 1050/- as the application fee. For abroad test centres, candidates have to pay an application fee equivalent to USD 50 in INR.
