Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) University has confirmed VIT Engineering Entrance Exam Result 2019 Date. In a telephonic conversation with Aglasem, the University confirmed that VITEEE 2019 result will release either on April 27 or 28, 2019. The University will announce the result on vit.ac.in.
Candidates who appeared for the examination, between April 10 to 21, 2019, will get to know their VITEEE All India Rank in the result. It will be percentile rank, prepared on the basis of equipercentile method.
To check VITEEE result, the candidates will have to visit the official website and click on the link for the result. Then the candidates will be directed to a login and to access it, application number and date of birth will be needed. After accessing the login, the candidates will get to see their result in the dashboard.
Candidates who will qualify VITEEE 2019 will be called counselling. The counselling of the examination will be held offline. The counselling venue and dates shall be announced in due course of time. It will be held in two phases and the candidates will have to report physical at the counselling venue.
The candidates will only be allowed to participate in the counselling if they will produce the needed documents. The documents needed are a copy of the result, admit card of VITEEE, counselling call letter, class 10 board certificate, class 12th mark sheet, if available.
During the counselling, candidates will have to state their choices for the course and campus. If the rank of the candidates suitable as per the choice, the seat shall be allocated. For the allotment, the candidates will be called as per the rank in the exam.
To confirm the allocated seat, candidates will have to pay Rs. 55000. The amount has to be remitted via Demand Draft in the name of “Vellore Institute of Technology”, payable at Vellore. The amount includes counselling fee of Rs. 11800.
VIT University has 4 campuses in Vellore, Chennai, Bhopal, and Amaravati. The admission fee for VITEEE is Rs. 1,76,000 for Group A courses and Rs. 1,98,000 Group B courses. The candidates who avail hostel facility have to pay the hostel fee as well.
VIT is a private deemed University. It has been ranked 18 in NIRF ranking for Engineering. Even in the overall university ranking, VIT has secured 32nd place. It was also placed number 1 in Atal Ranking of Institutions of Innovations Achievements.
