The Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE) 2021 will be conducted in online remote-proctored mode. Date of the examination is expected to be announced soon. Applications for the same have already started on the official website of VIT at viteee.vit.ac.in. Official dates regarding the admit card, correction window amongst others have not been updated yet. Candidates are advised to regularly check their official website for the latest updates related to VITEEE 2022 assessment.
According to the admission process released on their website, the selection of candidates will be based on their rank secured through CBT (Computer Based Test). Selected candidates will be called for online counselling based on their ranking. Eligible candidates may select a specific campus and programme during the counselling. After payment of full fees classes will be conducted online or by reporting in person to the Institution, depending on the situation. Candidates are expected to prove their genuineness while counselling.
The candidates who will successfully apply for the exam will be soon notified about the details for VITEEE 2022 slot booking. The details shall be sent to their registered email/phone number.
How to Apply
Engineering aspirants interested in pursuing graduation from any of the VIT’s shall fill the VITEEE 2022 application form at the soonest. Check out the procedure to apply for VITEEE 2022 assessment in the steps mentioned below:
Step 1 – Visit the official website of VIT at viteee.vit.ac.in.
Step 2 – New applicants must register themselves first. Candidates must use their valid e-mail address and active mobile number while registering. Enter all the relevant details carefully. An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number for verification. Once OTP is validated, a password will be sent to the registered email address.
Step 3 – Login with the registered email address and the password received from VIT.
Step 4 -Fill in the relevant fields carefully. An Application Number will be generated after filling in primary details. Refer to this application number in all your future correspondence.
Step 5 – Make the payment using online platforms.
Step 6 – After payment, upload a softcopy of photo and signature. Scanned files (.jpg format) of your photo (3.5 cm width x 4.5 cm height; 10-200 kB size) and signature (3.5 cm width x 1.5 cm height; 10-200 kB size)
Step 7 – Download and save the filled-in application for your reference and further correspondence.
The last date to apply for the examination will be soon updated on the official website of VIT. General category candidates wishing to apply for the VITEEE examination should have secured a minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology in the qualifying examination (+2/Intermediate). On the other hand, SC/ST category candidates get a relaxation of 10% and only require 50% in the PC(M/B) +2/Intermediate exam. Candidates born on or after July 1, 2000, are eligible to apply for the exam.
