Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Department is all set to release the UPTET 2022 Admit Card today, January 12, 2022. The exact timing for admit card release is not known. However, it is certain that admit cards will be issued through the online mode, on the official website updeled.gov.in. So, once released, registered candidates must download their hall tickets as soon as possible, before the exam. The Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2022 examination is all set to be conducted on January 23, 2022, giving candidates around 11 days to download their hall tickets.
How to Download UPTET 2022 Admit Card?
Once released, registered candidates can download the UPTET 2022 admit card using the tentative steps given below –
Step 1: Visit the official website of UPTET 2022 i.e., updeled.gov.in.
Step 2: On the homepage of the website, “UPTET-2021 Admit card” link located underneath the “Important” section. This section will be present to the left of the homepage.
Step 3: By clicking on the link, a new page will open asking for Registration Number, one-time password (OTP) and captcha code. By filling the registration number, an OTP will be sent to the corresponding email ID or phone number. Similarly, the security/captcha code will be displayed on the screen. Enter these details and click on the “Login” option.
Step 4: Download or print a copy of the admit card before the exam.
The above-mentioned steps are only tentative and may differ slightly from the actual process.
Clarification on UPTET 2022 examination
Originally, the state-level eligibility test was scheduled to be conducted on November 28, 2022, at selected centres across the country. With this date in mind, candidates referred to this exam as “UPTET 2021”. However, the exam was marred by a paper-leak scandal leading to its postponement.
As of now, the UPTET exam is all set to be conducted on January 23, 2022, through the pen-and-paper mode. Due to this shift in exam date from 2021 to 2022, the exam is being referred to as “UPTET 2022”. However, both terms refer to the same exam session and hence, can be used interchangeably.
An important thing to note is that the state education department will be issuing fresh UPTET 2022 admit cards to registered candidates. So, the hall tickets issued before stand null and void.
About UPTET 2022 Examination
The UPTET 2022 examination is all set to be conducted 11 days from now, through the OMR-based offline mode. The exam will be held in two shifts – Paper I from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm and Paper II from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm. Candidates need to make a note of this and reach their exam centre an hour prior to exam commencement.
