Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) will soon release the admit card for Preliminary Eligibility Test 2021 (PET) on its official website upsssc.gov.in. UPSSSC is going to conduct the PET 2021 exam on August 20, 2021. As only 10 days are remaining for the PET 2021 exam, it is expected that the PET 2021 admit card will soon release by August 10, 2021. Approximately 20 lakh candidates have registered for the upcoming PET 2021 exam.
UPSSSC will conduct PET 2021 exam in an offline mode i.e. pen-paper mode. The exam will be conducted in two shifts on August 20, 2021. PET 2021 exam will consist of 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) of 100 marks. A total time of 2 hours will be given to the candidates to complete the PET 2021 exam. The difficulty level of the PET 2021 question paper will be same as that of the Secondary and Senior Secondary level of NCERT.
The syllabus of the PET 2021 exam consists of subjects such as Indian History, Indian Economy, Geography, Indian National Movement, Indian Constitution & Public Administration, General Science, General Hindi, Elementary Arithmetic, General English, Current Affairs, Logical Reasoning, General Awareness, Graph Interpretation, Table Interpretation Analysis, and Analysis of two unread passages. Each of these questions from every sections will carry 1 mark.
UPSSSC PET 2021 exam will be conducted across more than 3000 exam centres in Uttar Pradesh. While evaluating the PET 2021 answer sheets, for every correct answer, candidates will get 1 mark whereas for every wrong answer 0.25 marks will be deducted because of a negative marking scheme. After qualifying for the PET 2021 exam, the score of the exam is valid only for one year. UPSSSC is planning to conduct the main exam around November 2021 for Revenue Accountant and Health Worker posts whereas, for Agriculture Technician & Supervisor, the main exam will be conducted in February 2022. For posts such as Junior Assistant Stenographer, Lab Technologist, and X-ray Technologist, the main exam will be held in March 2022.
The application forms for PET 2021 exam were already released on the official website upsssc.gov.in on May 25, 2021, and closed on June 28, 2021. UPSSSC will take all due precautions of the COVID 19 pandemic to conduct PET 2021 exam. After passing this exam, candidates will be recruited to the different posts of UPSSSC under Group- C vacancies.
