Union Public Service Commission has published the latest recruitment notification to fill up 121 vacancies in various posts. Complete eligibility conditions to apply online for different posts advertised are indicated in the Advertisement No. 07/2020. Eligible and willing candidates can apply online through the official website upsc.gov.in on or before the last date. The last date of submission of online applications is August 13, 2020. However, applicants can generate a print out of the submitted online application form till August 14, 2020.
As per the detailed notification, there are 36 openings for the post of Medical Officer/Research Officer (Homeopathy) under the Ministry of Ayush. Candidates within the maximum age of 35 years are eligible to apply. Such applicants must have a degree in Homeopathy recognized by the Homeopathic Central Council Act, 1973 (59 of 1973). In addition, such applicants must be enrolled on the Central Register of Homeopathy of State Register of Homeopathy.
03 openings are advertised for the post of Assistant Engineer (Quality Assurance) (Metallurgy) under the Directorate General of Quality Assurance, Ministry of Defense. In order to apply for the unreserved posts, candidates must be within the maximum age of 30 years. Applicants must have a Master’s degree in Science in the subjects of Physics/Chemistry (Inorganic) or Graduate Engineering degree in Metallurgy. In addition, applicants must have two years of practical experience in Production/Development/QA in the Metallurgy field.
46 openings are available for the post of Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (General Medicine) under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Candidates within the age of 40 years and having an MBBS degree and three years of experience as a Senior Resident (Teaching) are eligible to apply for the aforementioned posts. Similarly, 14 vacancies are advertised for Specialist Grade III Assistant Professor (Neuro Surgery) under the Ministry. Candidates within the maximum age of 40 years and having an MBBS degree are eligible to apply. Such candidates must also have at least 03 years of teaching experience in the position of Senior Resident or equivalent.
02 openings are advertised for the post of Senior Scientific Officer (Ballistics) under the Home Department, Govt. of National Capital Territory of Delhi. Candidates having a Master’s degree in Physics, Mathematics or Forensic Science with one of these subjects studied at the B.Sc. level are eligible to apply. Applicants must be within the maximum age of 35 years. In addition, minimum experience of 3 years in analytical methods/research is also required to apply. 06 vacancies are advertised for the post of Senior Scientific Officer (Biology), Candidates within the age of 35 years are eligible to apply provided that they have a Master’s degree in Zoology/Botany/Anthropology/Life Science/Biochemistry/Microbiology/Genetics/Biotechnology/Molecular Biology/Forensic science. Candidates must have studied Forensic Science/Zoology/Botany as a subject at B.Sc. level. In addition, 03 years of relevant experience is also required.
05 vacancies are advertised for the post of Senior Scientific Officer (Chemistry). Candidates having a Master’s degree in Chemistry/Toxicology/Forensic Science with Chemistry as a subject in B.Sc. level are eligible to apply provided they are within the maximum age of 35 years and having five years of relevant experience. Similarly, 04 vacancies are available for the post of Senior Scientific Officer (Documents) for which, candidates need a Master’s degree in Physics/Chemistry/Computer Science/Forensic Science with Physics/Chemistry/CS/FS as a subject in the B.Sc. level. Candidates must have 03 years of relevant experience. For the post of Senior Scientific Officer (Photo), candidates within the age of 35 years and having a graduate degree in Science with Diploma in Photography are eligible to apply. Candidates must have 03 years of minimum experience in a relevant field.
03 vacancies are available for the post of Senior Scientific Officer (Physics) for which, candidates within 35 years of age having Master’s degree in Physics or Forensic science with the subjects studied at B.Sc. level and at least 03 years of relevant experience are eligible to apply. For the 01 vacancy advertised for the post of Architect (Group A), candidates within the age of 40 years and having a degree in Architecture with five years of relevant experience are eligible to apply.
Applications must be submitted online through the website of the Commission only. The date of the interview is to be intimated later. An application fee of Rs 25 must be paid through SBI branch by cash or through net banking or debit/credit card. SC/ST/PH/Female candidates are exempted from the payment of fees.
