Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the NDA 2 Result 2021 today, on December 15, 2021. The result of the written examination held on November 14, 2021, has been published at upsc.gov.in in the form of a pdf file containing roll numbers of qualified candidates. A total of 8009 candidates have cleared cut off and been shortlisted for the SSB interviews.
The homepage of the official website of UPSC, i.e. upsc.gov.in is down. It is displaying the following error: The website encountered an unexpected error. Please try again later.
Error messagePDOException: SQLSTATE[HY000] [1040] Too many connections in lock_may_be_available() (line 167 of /var/www/html/upsc/includes/lock.inc). However, the webpage where UPSC hosts the written examination results is working, and the result pdf file is also opening.

UPSC had conducted the written examination for National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination, (II) 2021 just a month ago.
How to check UPSC NDA 2 Result 2021?
Candidates need to open the result pdf file. The first page contains notification on result announcement. Then second page onwards the file shows the roll numbers of all the candidates who have qualified. Candidates need to find their roll number in this list.
To easily locate roll number, among the 8009 roll numbers, one can use the search function. Like in google chrome or simple pdf reader, do ctrl+f and enter roll number.
What after UPSC NDA 2 Result 2021?
Next steps for qualified candidates – Now all the candidates who have been qualified need to go to the website joinindianarmy.nic.in, which is the website for Indian Army Recruitment. There, register online. Eventually, one has to check their selection center, date of SSB interview which they will get via email. Previously registered candidates need not register again. Last date to register at the Indian Army Recruitment website is within 2 weeks of result announcement, i.e. December 29, 2021.
All candidates can check their mark-sheets from upsc.gov.in within 15 days of the final result.
It may be noted that NDA 2 cut off 2021 has not been disclosed at the moment. It will be revealed later, after selection process concludes.
Those who clear SSB shall be given admission to Army, Navy and Air Force Wings of the National Defence Academy for the 148th Course and for the 110th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC) commencing from July 2, 2022.
