University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun is scheduled to conduct the UPES Engineering Aptitude Test (UPESEAT) 2021 from June 17 to 19, 2021. Registration for the entrance test is scheduled to end today, June 12, 2021. Candidates who are yet to submit their application form have only a few hours left to do so on the official website upes.ac.in. By qualifying this entrance test, candidates can get admission for a variety of B.Tech. programmes offered at the prestigious university.
Students who have already applied for the UPESEAT 2021 examination are advised to go through and understand the admission process before the actual exam date. Firstly, successfully registered candidates must book their examination slot for the online remote proctored examination. Thereafter, they must appear for the demo test. All B.Tech. aspirants must appear for the demo test to understand the exam format and avoid any last-minute chaos.
UPES authorities shall be providing two different passkeys or login credentials for the demo test and actual test. The actual credentials for the entrance exam shall be sent to all registered candidates a day prior to the exam day. Thus, candidates are advised to check their registered email ID and SMS constantly to make a note of these credentials. Furthermore, these credentials must not be confused with the demo login credentials.
UPESEAT 2021 examination is scheduled from June 17 to 19, 2021, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. The test window shall be open during this slot on all three days. Students must login to the exam portal during this period and appear for the examination. They must also bear in mind that the timer begins as soon as the student logs in. Thus, there is no time to while away or waste for the two hours since the exact login time. As per the official website upes.ac.in, results are likely to come out on or before June 24, 2021. Once the results are announced, the result link shall be activated on the official website.
Candidates willing to apply for the B.Tech. or B.Tech. L.L.B. (6 years) programmes must also understand the paper pattern for UPESEAT 2021. The test shall be conducted through the online remote proctored format for a duration of 2 hours. Furthermore, the question paper shall be divided into four sections – Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English Language Comprehension. The first sections shall contain 35 questions while the English section will include 25 questions. Thus, the paper will have a total of 125 questions.
Other than UPESEAT, the university authorities also conduct other entrance exams such as ULSAT and UPESPAT for the admission process. ULSAT is conducted for courses pertaining to law while UPESPAT is conducted for admission to health sciences. Another entrance exam called UPESMAT is also held for admission to business and marketing courses.
