On Monday, the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has announced the Final Result of UP Police Constable 2018 at uppbpb.gov.in. Total 41520 candidates were selected through the recruitment examination. The recruitment was based on the written examination, DV/PST, and Physical Efficiency Test. The result has been announced in the form of pdf, for 23,520 Civil Police and 18,000 Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC).
The written examination of the recruitment process was held twice once in June, on June 18, 19, 2018 and later on October 25, 26, 2018. The written result was announced on December 05, 2018, after doing the normalization in the marks. The Document Verification/ Physical Standard Test held from December 06 to 14, 2018 for the qualifiers of written exam. The qualified candidates were called for the Physical Efficiency Test from December 07 2018 to February 15, 2019.
For the post of Civil Police, a total of 23520 candidates selected in which 11,761 are from general category, 6350 candidates are belonging to OBC, 4939 candidates are from SC category, and 470 are selected in ST category. Total 4683 female candidates are selected for the post of Civil Police.
While talking about the PAC post, total 18000 vacancies were to be filled, in total 50% candidates are selected from the General category candidates, whereas OBC also badges approx 27% vacancies (4860), 3780 candidates were from SC category and 360 candidates are from ST which is 02% of entire PAC vacancies.
Turning towards the toppers in all male candidates Vinay Malik from Shamli district badges the rank one, and in all female candidates, Princy from Baghpat district is on the top.
In the entire recruitment, top 10 districts are from west UP, maximum candidates are selected from the west UP, here are the top 10 district Bulandshahr, Meerut, Baghpat, Aligarh, Agra, Bijnor, Muzaffarnagar, Mathura, Gajipur, Muradabad.
In some District the number of selected candidates is less than 500, the Board has decided to post candidates from outside the states in those states. Total of 1024 candidates is selected from outside the state (Bihar, Haryana, MP, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Delhi, Jharkhand, Maharastra).
As per the Board total of 22,76,184 applied and 85% of the candidates appeared for the written examination which is approximately 193756 candidates. There was massive participation of candidates in this recruitment.
Another Constable Recruitment in the state: Apart from the above recruitment, the board is conducting the recruitment of 49,568 Constable in the state. The written examination of the process was held on January 27, 28, 2019. Now is expected near February end.
