Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, Lucknow (UPPRPB) has released the final answer key of UP Police recruitment test 2019 for 49568 constable recruitment. The answer keys are available for download at uppbpb.gov.in. The board says that the link will be available only until November 12, 2019.
UP Police had conducted the written test for constable recruitment on January 27 and 28, 2019. After that they released the answer key on February 4, 2019, and it was available for download until February 7, 2019. Candidates could also submit objections in this duration. A revised answer key was published on March 12, 2019. That with master question paper was available for download until March 17, 2019.
Now after eight months of the event, final answer keys have been released. Although candidates were expecting result directly, but they are glad that at least some progress is being made towards it.
To check the answer keys, candidates need to first go to uppbpb.gov.in and locate the link for constable recruitment answer key. There are two links in the same place. One is that for notice, and the other is for the answer key. Clicking the notice link opens a notification pdf. Whereas the second link leads to the constable recruitment page. Here, four different answer keys are available.
There are four PDFs, one each for answer key of January 27 shift 1, January 27 shift 2, January 28 shift 1, and January 28 shift 2. The first one has answer keys of test booklet series D/1, D/2, D/3, D/4, D/5, D/6, D/7, D/8, D/9, D/10, D/11, D/12, D/13, D/14, D/15, D/16, D/17, D/18, D/19, D/20, D/21, D/22, D/23, D/24.
Then the second one, for January 27 shift 2 has answer keys of test booklet series B/1, B/2, B/3, B/4, B/5, B/6, B/7, B/8, B/9, B/10, B/11, B/12, B/13, B/14, B/15, B/16, B/17, B/18, B/19, B/20, B/21, B/22, B/23, B/24.
For January 28 shift 1, answer keys are available for test booklet series A/1, A/2, A/3, A/4, A/5, A/6, A/7, A/8, A/9, A/10, A/11, A/12, A/13, A/14, A/15, A/16, A/17, A/18, A/19, A/20, A/21, A/22, A/23, A/24.
The last day last shift, January 28 shift 2 answer keys are available for test booklet series C/1, C/2, C/3, C/4, C/5, C/6, C/7, C/8, C/9, C/10, C/11, C/12, C/13, C/14, C/15, C/16, C/17, C/18, C/19, C/20, C/21, C/22, C/23, C/24.
In the answer key, wherever IG/FM is written, it means that the question has been ignored. All candidates get full marks for it. All answer keys have correct answers of 150 questions of all test booklets provided.
Now that the final answer key is out, result is likely to be announced soon. Upon finalization, UP Police will publish its result at uppbpb.gov.in.
UP Police constable recruitment is for 31,360 vacancies of constable civil police, and 18,208 vacancies of constable in pradeshik armed constabulary (PAC). A few months ago it was reported that the government has asked the police department to expedite the process of this recruitment.
