UGC NET Admit Card 2019 has been released on May 28, 2019, at 9 AM at nta.ac.in. Candidates can now download admit card of UGC NET 2019 with application number and date of birth. However, hall ticket at nta.ac.in is only indicative. Candidates should download NTA NET 2019 Admit Card again at ntanet.nic.in from National Testing Agency from 5 PM today.
National Testing Agency activated link to download UGC NET admit card for June 2019 in the morning at https://www.nta.ac.in/UGCNET/AC. But first of all, many candidates are complaining that they are unable to login. Despite entering correct application number, they are getting application invalid error.
Secondly, those who have downloaded can see this line in the photograph section. As per it, UGC NET Admit Card 2019 at nta.ac.in not actual and it is only indicative information.
This is an advance intimation only. Please also download your admit card from website http://www.ntanet.nic.in after 05:00 PM of 28-05-2019.
Thus, it is clear that NTA has only released a document containing candidate exam date, shift, centre details. However this is not admit card. This document has only been provided because candidates have been waiting for admit card of UGC NET since May 15, 2019, which was the initial date for its issuance. Then the agency released a notice saying that it will be released on May 27, 2019. So since morning of said date, lakhs of aspirants have been checking official websites for admit card download and had been growing anxious about it.
It is important to spread this information to all UGC NET June 2019 test takers that the admit card they have downloaded from nta.ac.in is not final. They may not get entry with it at exam centre. It is important to download actual hall ticket from ntanet.nic.in from 5 PM of May 28, 2019.
Candidates may note that nta.ac.in is official website of National Testing Agency, which is exam conducting body if UGC NET June 2019. And ntanet.nic.in is official website of UGC NET exam.
Other than that one line which tells the situation, rest of the admit card looks normal. There is roll number, candidate name, father’s name, date of birth, gender, category, application number, reporting time, gate closing time, NET subject, test center, venue, exam date, timings, instructions.
As per instructions for UGC NET in this admit card, candidates are advised to visit exam centre one day in advance. They must bring a clear (preferably colour) printout on A4 size sheet of UGC NET 2019 Admit Card, passport size photograph same as uploaded in application form, any one valid photo identification proof. Valid photo ID proofs include PAN card, driving license, voter ID, passport, aadhaar card with photograph, e-aadhaar card, ration card. In addition, PWD candidates must bring PWD certificate issued by Competent Authority.
No one should take personal belongings such as electronic devices and other things to exam centre. Candidates will get pens and rough sheets for rough work in exam hall. They must submit them before leaving centre.
NTA UGC NET 2019 will be held on June 20 to 28, 2019, except June 22 and 23, 2019. It is the national level exam to determine eligibility of candidates for Assistant Professorship and JRF.
