Southern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Limited, also known as TSSPDCL, will be finally releasing the application form of the last of the three notifications that it issued last month, today. Whereas application form submission for Junior Lineman post with 2500 vacancies, Junior Personnel post with 25 vacancies are already ongoing, registration for the post of Junior Assistant cum Computer Operator or JAO will commence from today, October 31, 2019.
To apply, candidates need to go to tssouthernpower.com and navigate to its careers page. There, they have to click the apply online link against JAO post. On the next page is a table with all three ongoing recruitment of the corporation, with direct links of online payment and online application. The application processing fee is Rs 100, and Rs 120 is the examination fee. SC, ST, BC, PH candidates have to pay only the former, whereas all others need to pay both.
TSSPDCL JAO recruitment 2019 notification was published on September 28, 2019. As per its schedule, the starting date of fee payment was supposed to be yesterday, however link for the same has not yet been activated at tssouthernpower.com on the page where all apply and fee payment links are available. Nevertheless it is expected to be available now.
The last date and time to pay fee will be November 20, 2019 5 pm, and the last date and time for submitting the online form will be November 20, 2019 11.59 pm. TSSPDCL will issue hall ticket for the exams on December 11, 2019. The exam is scheduled to be held on December 22, 2019.
Candidates between 18 to 34 years of age. as on July 1, 2019 can apply. For SC, ST, BC candidates the upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years, and 10 in the case of physically handicapped candidates. All applicants are required to hold either BA or B.Sc or B.Com degree or equivalent.
For the purpose of selection to the post of JAO, TSSPDCL or TS Southern Power will conduct a written exam based on the syllabus provided in the notification, annexure II. This test will be of 80 marks. There will be 40 questions of as many marks in section A numerical ability and logical reasoning, 20 in section B computer awareness, and 20 in section C english language proficiency and general knowledge.
Beyond the 80 marks of written test, TSSPDCL will assign marks out of 20 as weightage marks, for artisans and outsourced personnel engaged through societies in TSTRANSCO, TSSPDCL, TSNPDCL. Other than that a proficiency test in computers will be held for candidates picked from the first two steps. There will not be any interview in the selection process.
TSSPDCL recruitment 2019 is open for Junior Lineman, last date to apply for which is November 10, 2019, Junior Personnel, with the same deadline to apply, and now Junior Assistant cum Computer Operator. A total of 3025 vacancies are being filled in the electric distribution company which the Telangana government owns, covering the districts Mahabubnagar, Wanaparthy, Nagarkurnool, Jogulamba-Gadwal, Narayanpet, Nalgonda, BhongirYadadri, Suryapet, Medak, Siddipet, Sangareddy, Vikarabad, Rangareddy, Medchal-Malkajgiri and Hyderabad.
