Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has released the official syllabus for the upcoming Group 4 Recruitment 2022 written exam. The syllabus has been uploaded on the commission’s official website tnpsc.gov.in.Several subjects and key topics will be covered in this recruitment exam aiming to fill a total of 7301 vacancies. These vacancies have been distributed under several posts including Village Administrative Officer, Junior Assistant, Typist, Steno Typist, and Bill Collector. A detailed notification has also been released today, March 30, 2022, on the official portal.
TNPSC Group 4 Syllabus Overview
The TNPSC group 4 syllabus comprises two sections – Part A and Part B. Interestingly, while Part A has been explained in Tamil, Part B has been mentioned in the English language. the former enlists the topics to expect in the exam, pertaining to the Tamil language. The latter is pertaining to the General Studies paper comprising of objective-type questions.

- History and Culture of India
- Indian Polity
- Indian Economy
- Indian National Movement
- History, Culture, Heritage and Socio-Political Movements of Tamil Nadu

All sections are further divided into topics and sub-topics, as specified in the PDF uploaded by the Tamil Nadu commission. Candidates are instructed to follow this PDF carefully while chalking out their preparation strategy.

TNPSC Group 4 Exam Date & Time Announced
As per the official notification issued today, the TNPSC Group 4 recruitment exam is all set to be conducted on July 24, 2022. The test will be held for a duration of two hours i.e., from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM. The test will be held in the OMR-based offline mode, at selected centers across the country. Objective-based questions will be asked in the paper, answers for which need to be marked on the OMR sheet.
