Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) published combined civil services examination 4 (group 4 services) today, on November 12, 2019. Candidates who appeared in the exam can now check their marks as well as rank position at tnpsc.gov.in. To check result, register number is required.
Based on the TNPSC group 4 result of written exam, candidates will be asked to upload their certificates for certificate verification. After which, the commission shall organize counselling for the purpose of allotting post and unit. The TNPSC group 4 recruitment 2019 is to fill a total of 6,491 vacancies.
To check result, candidates need to visit tnpsc.gov.in. There are two links, server 1 and server 2; click any one. Then on the next page enter register number and result immediately appears on the screen. The result shows marks obtained as well as rank position.
However right now it is not being displayed whether one has qualified or not. The commission will separately release the list of qualified candidates and cut off.

TNPSC has announced the results early. As per the commission’s results schedule published earlier this month, the result of group 4 exam was supposed to be announced in December. This month, the result of assistant engineer exam is supposed to come. However the group 4 results have come early, and soon, AE results are anticipated.
As per the Advertisement No.549 Notification No.19/2019 in which the recruitment was first notified, the selection process consists of only written exam, followed by certificate verification and counselling. Allotment to posts will be purely merit based, on the basis of marks in written exam, subject to fulfillment of eligibility criteria and verification of certificates.
Through this recruitment, a total of 397 vacancies will be filled for village administrative officer, post code 2025, under Tamil Nadu Ministerial Service (Service Code. 050). Then there are posts in Tamil Nadu Ministerial Service / Tamil Nadu Judicial Ministerial Service (Service Code. 006) wherein there are 2688 vacancies of junior assistant non security post code 2600, then 104 vacancies of junior assistant security post code 2400, and 34 vacancies of bill collector grade 1 post code 2500.
Then there are posts in Tamil Nadu Survey and Land Records Subordinate Service (Service Code. 006) with 509 vacancies of field surveyor post code 2800, and 74 vacancies of draftsman post code 2900. Tamil Nadu Ministerial Service / Tamil Nadu Judicial Ministerial Service / Tamil Nadu Secretariat Service / Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly Secretariat Service (Service Code. 006) has 1901 vacancies of typist with post code 2200. Whereas in Tamil Nadu Ministerial Service / Tamil Nadu Judicial Ministerial Service (Service Code. 006) there are 784 vacancies of steno typist grade 3 post code 2300.
TNPSC group 4 exam was held on September 1, 2019. The commission published its answer keys on September 10, 2019. The notification was released on June 14, 2019, and applications accepted until July 14, 2019. Overall, this recruitment process has been moving swiftly.
