Tamil Nadu Education Department successfully conducted the Class 12 English Public exam 2022 on Monday, May 09, 2022. The Language Part II exam was held for a duration of 3 hours, at selected schools across the state. The paper was entirely offline and students had to jot down their answers using a black ballpoint pen. The paper contained a uniform mixture of grammar, vocabulary, literature-based and composition questions.
Unlike the CBSE or CISCE Class 12 term 2 exams which are organised for 40 marks, the TN Class 12 public exam 2022 is conducted for 90 marks. Clearly, full-fledged board exams are making an appearance after two years of COVID-19 pandemic.
Less than 24 hours of the TN 12th English Public exam 2022 being conducted, students are ardently waiting for the official answer key. The state education department is likely to release the official draft soon. But a specific date or time is hard to predict.

TN 12th English Paper Pattern & Overview 2022
As mentioned before, the TN 12th English exam 2022 was held for a duration of 3 hours or 180 minutes. The question paper was divided into four parts – Part I, Part II, Part III and Part IV. The following type of questions featured in each part –
Part I – grammar and vocabulary
Part II – poetry-based questions and grammar
Part III – prose-based questions
Part IV – composition and comprehension
Internal choices were given in some questions throughout the TN 12th English 2022 exam. However, students were expected to attempt and complete all parts within the given time-frame.
