Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) has postponed the date for declaring the results for the TISS National Entrance Examination (TISSNET) 2021. Authorities are now going to announce the results on March 19, 2021. Candidates who are waiting for the result can check the same at the official website i.e tiss.edu as soon as it is released. Furthermore, candidates who successfully qualify for the entrance exam can seek admission for the MA programme at the reputed institute.
TISSNET 2021 was earlier conducted on February 20, 2021, and results for the same were previously expected to come out today, March 16, 2021. However, authorities have announced that they shall declare the results on March 19, 2021. Candidates can check their results on the official website tiss.edu once they are declared by the concerned authorities. To do so, they are required to visit the official website and click on the ‘result link’ in the MA box on the homepage.
Candidates, after doing so, shall be redirected to a new page wherein they must enter their login credentials. These credentials include candidate’s registration number and date of birth. A security code shall also be displayed on the screen which the candidates have to enter correctly in the space provided. After filling in all the necessary details, they must click on the ‘submit’ option to access their results. The TISSNET 2021 results shall be displayed on the screen.
Aspirants are advised to either download or take a print-out of their results for future reference. TISSNET 2021 scorecard shall contain a variety of different details about the candidate including candidate registration number, name, domicile of candidate, etc. It shall also contain exam details such as TISSNET 2021 score, preference, location, programme selected, PI shortlist status, category or domicile and the category-based cut-off marks.
TISSNET 2021 selection procedure involves three important steps. The first step is appearing and qualifying the national-level entrance examination. The next step includes giving the TISS Programme Aptitude Test (TISSPAT). The last step of the admission process is the Online Personal interview (OPI).
Candidates who qualify all three rounds of the admission process are eligible to apply for admission to various TISS campuses. These campuses are in Tuljapur, Mumbai, Guwahati and Hyderabad. Candidates. Moreover, aspirants can apply for a variety of different courses pertaining to MA, MSc, MHA and MPH.
TISSNET 2021 was previously conducted by the concerned authorities throughout the country in February 2021. Results for the same are expected to come out in a few days. Subsequently, the result link shall be activated on the official website tiss.edu for candidates to check their TISSNET 2021. Following this, authorities shall notify the dates for the TISSPAT and OPI steps as well as release of merit lists and admission process.
