Tata Institute of Fundamental Research has released the eligibility criteria relevant for the TIFR 2022 application form on the official website, univ.tifr.res.in. The application form of TIFR GS 2022 is going to be released tomorrow and the last date to apply for the same will be December 07, 2021. The candidates who are in the final year are also eligible to apply for the TIFR GS 2022.
The TIFR 2022 exam is going to be held on December 12, 2021, and the admit card for the same is going to be released on November 22, 2021. The final result along with the names is going to be released in January 2022.
The institute has released the TIFR 2022 eligibility criteria for a range of courses and candidates need to check the same before applying. The TIFR GS 2022 eligibility criteria have been released only for PhD and I-Ph.D courses in different disciplines.
As per the eligibility criteria for a PhD in Mathematics, the candidates need to have qualified any of M.Math./M.Stat./M.E./M.Tech/M.A./M.Sc. However, the same willing to apply for I-Ph.D must possess a degree in B.Stat./B.E./B.TechB.A./B.Sc./B.Math.
The candidates willing to apply for PhD in Physics must have cleared M.SC/M.S. in physics and the same for I-Ph.D is M.E./M.Tech./B.Sc./B.S./B.E./B.Tech./ B.Chem. in Physics, Engineering Physics, or equivalent degree, of duration, not less than 3 years in aggregate.
Similar way, as per the eligibility for PhD in Chemistry, they need to have completed M.Sc./B.E./B.Tech./M.Pharm. or equivalent degree. However, the eligibility criteria for TIFR GS, I-Ph.D is having a degree in B.Sc./B.Pharm./B.S.
As per the official website, the eligibility criteria for PhD in Computer and System Sciences is having a B.Tech./B.E./B.Sc.(4-year degree)/M.Tech./M.E./M.C.A./M.Sc. or equivalent degree in Computer Science / Electronics & Communications Engineering / Electrical Engineering or related branches. While the same for candidates who wish to avail of the I-PhD course must have completed B.Sc. or any other 3-year degree in Computer Science / Electronics & Communications Engineering / Electrical Engineering or related branches.
Same way, the basic eligibility for PhD in Biology, the candidates must have completed Master’s in basic sciences or any professional degree of less than 4 years duration. Similar way, the eligibility criteria for I-PhD in Biology is having a degree in basic science or any 4 year degree i.e. B.E., B.Tech, B.Pharma.
Even though the application form is going to be released tomorrow, the application fee of the same is INR 1200 for male candidates. While the same is INR 600 for females and other categories.
