Tata Memorial Center (TMC), Mumbai is inviting applications to fill up vacancies for the post of Medical Officers. TMC has published an official recruitment advertisement in this regard at the official website i.e. tmc.gov.in. As per the notice, 05 vacancies are available for the post in the Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital, Varanasi & Manamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya Cancer Center, Varanasi. Eligible candidates holding the necessary medical qualifications can apply for the recruitment by visiting the website. The last date to apply online and submit downloaded application forms is July 27, 2020, till 05.30 PM. The written test/interview for selection is tentatively scheduled to be conducted on August 04/05, 2020.
Candidates holding an MBBS degree with successful completion of internship are eligible to apply for recruitment to the post of Medical Officer (General Duty). In addition, the maximum age of the candidates must be within 45 years. The upper age limit can be relaxed for candidates belonging to specified reserved categories as per government norms. SC/ST candidates may avail age relaxation of up to 05 years. On the other hand, OBC candidates can avail age relaxation of up to 03 years while physically handicapped candidates can avail age relaxation of up to 10 years. Candidates are advised to go through the notification carefully and ensure that they fulfil the eligibility conditions in all aspects before applying for the recruitment.
The selection of eligible applicants is to be performed through written tests/interviews. The tentative dates of the selection tests have been notified although the actual dates are to be communicated to the shortlisted candidates in due course of time. After selection through the aforementioned stages, candidates are appointed to the advertised posts for a monthly consolidated salary of Rs 72000. However such candidates have to make a security deposit of Rs 72000 during joining. The security deposit amount is refunded in full after the completion of the tenure of employment.
The application process is conducted online and candidates have to pay an application fee as specified in the recruitment notification. General and OBC category candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs 300 in order to apply for the recruitment. The application fee can be paid online through debit/credit card. However, candidates belonging to SC/ST category, PWD category and female candidates are exempted from the payment of the application fee. Once paid, the application fee cannot be refunded under any circumstances.
