Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS) Tirupati, has released the UG admission notification for the academic year 2021-22 on the official website, svimspt.ap.nic.in. The application process began on November 17 and ends on December 01, 2021. Applications are open for UG courses including BPT, B.Sc. Nursing, and B.Sc. AHS.
Students who have passed +2 with the Science stream (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English with aggregate 45% marks. In addition to that, only candidates who appeared and have acquired a rank card in the AP EAPCET-2021 exam are eligible to apply.
Interested and eligible candidates can apply through the AP online portal, TS online portal, Mee-Seva centres, or through the official website. The registration process and the application form for all the courses offered by the institute are common.
Application fees for unreserved category students is INR 2360, and for OBC, SC, and ST, categories is INR 1888, which has to be paid online through AP online or Mee-Seva centres only. Furthermore, the notification strictly mentions that no refund for remitted amounts would be made.
Candidates can refer to the following steps for registration:
Step 1 – Go to any of the application portals – AP online/ TS online/ Mee-Seva Centres/ SVIMS website.
Step 2 – Enter the required details i.e., Aadhar number, AP EAPCET admit card number, caste, and pay the application fees. Your data will automatically be captured from AP EAPCET.
Step 3 – Now you will be required to fill your marks secured in +2 as per the mark sheet.
Step 4 – Other details of the candidate i.e., DOB, Gender, Category, address, etc. should be filled manually by the candidate.
Step 5 – Now upload the required documents as mentioned in the application form
Step 6 – After completing the online application process take a print of the application form and the payment receipt.
Important documents required are – Aadhar card, SSC and Inter mark sheets, AP EAPCET admit card and rank card, passport size photograph. Candidates are asked to visit the official website of the institute svimstpt.ap.nic.in, for any details and any further notifications regarding the application.
Another significant information interested candidates must note is that the admission will be based on the AP EAPCET-2021 rankings and in case of a tie, the tie-breaking rule suggests that preference will be given to the elder person.
Furthermore, a provisional merit list will be displayed on the official website on December 14, 2021, at 5:00 pm and any objection regarding the merit list can be sent through the mail until December 17, 2021, up to 5:00 pm. The final merit list will be published on December 20, 2021, at 5:00 pm on the official website. The first web-based counseling will be done on December 28, 2021, and the date for the second web-based counseling will be notified later by the institute. Classes for the UG programs will commence on January 01, 2022.
B.Sc. Nursing and B.Sc. AHS are 4-year courses, whereas BPT is a 4½ -year course. B.Sc. Nursing is recognized by the Indian Nursing council. BPT is recognized by the Indian Association of Physiotherapists, B.Sc. Allied Health Sciences (AHS) courses are recognized by AP Paramedical Board.
