SSC To Release GD Constable Result 2018 on 31 May; Check at ssc.nic.in

As per the status report released by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on March 29, 2019, the SSC GD Constable Result 2018 will be declared on May 31, 2019. The Commission will disclose the result of Computer Based Test on its official website at ssc.nic.in. The result will be announced for the CBT held from February 11 to March 11, 2019. The exam conducted for 18 days. The candidates who appeared in the exam will be able to check their result.

Status report of SSC GD Constable 2018

The result will be announced in the form of pdf, containing the details of qualifiers candidates of CBT. The result will be containing the name, roll number, the category of the candidates. The examination was conducted to recruit 58,373 candidates for the post of Constable.

As per the report released by the SSC after the CBT, the total number of candidates registered for the recruitment was 52,20,335, and in which only 58.26% candidates appeared for the examination, which is 30 Lacs 41 thousand approx. There was massive participation for the written examination.

In order to qualify the examination, the candidates have to obtain a minimum of 35% if the candidate is belonging to the General category and for SC / ST / OBC / PWD candidates the minimum qualifying marks will be 33%. Those who will obtain the minimum qualifying marks will be considered to appear for the next stage of recruitment.

After the declaration of result, the SSC will release the category wise cut off marks list. The qualifiers will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test/ Physical Standard Test. The candidates have to perform some physical tasks.

Along with physical fitness,  the medical fitness of the candidate also matters, after the qualification in PET / PST, the candidates will be called for the Detailed Medical Examination. In the medical examination the candidates have to undergo the Medical Test (X-Ray) chest-PA view, Haemoglobin, Urine routine/ microscopic. The candidates with knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes, will be treated disqualified.

For each stage of examination, a fresh call letter will be issued to the candidates. It is mandatory to carry the documents while appearing for the exam.

The candidates should note that the final result will be purely dependent on the marks obtained in the written examination, the Physical Standard Test, Physical Efficiency Test, and Detailed Medical examination will be of qualifying nature.
