Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued the SSC CPO Admit Card for the online examination at ssc.nic.in on February 26, 2019. SSC is all set to conduct the examination form March 12 to 16, 2019 in online mode. The candidates were waiting for this examination from the last year. Now all the registered candidates can download the admit card by entering the Name, Roll number/ Registration number, and date of birth.
The admit card is available on the regional website of SSC. As of now, the admit card has been made available for Eastern Region, Central Region, and Madhya Pradesh Region. For the rest of the regions (Karnataka, Southern, Western, Northern, North Eastern Region, North Western Region), the admit card will be available soon.
In case the candidates are facing the problem in downloading the admit card can Communicate to the SSC along with Registration id, Fee payment proof, and Hard copy of online application form. The candidates are advised by SSC to communicate at least one week before the examination so that their problem can be resolved.
While appearing for the examination the candidates have to carry the hard copy of the admit card along with the passport size photograph and original copy of photo identity proof issued by Indian Government.
The selection of the candidates is based on Paper I, Physical Standard Test (PST)/ Physical Endurance Test (PET), Paper-II and Detailed Medical Examination (DME). The paper I will be objective in nature and will be conducted in online mode. The candidates have to answer the 200 questions of 200 marks. For each correct answer, one mark will be issued. For each incorrect answer, the 1/4 marks will be deducted.
The candidates who will qualify the Paper I examination will have to appear in the Physical Standard Test (PST)/ Physical Endurance Test (PET), in which the candidates have to perform various physical tasks such as Race, Long Jump, High Jump, Shot put. However, for male and female candidates the criterion is different.
On qualifying the PET/PST the candidates are called for the paper Ii, in which is again an objective type paper, containing the 200 questions of 200 marks, the question related to the English language
& Comprehension. SSC will issue the admit card for each phase separately. As of now, there is no confirmation about the dates of Paper II, or PET/PST. SSC may release the dates of examination after the declaration of the result of paper I.
Another big recruitment of SSC i.e.CBT of SSC GD Recruitment is ending on March 11, 2019. Within a few weeks, the answer key of the CBT will be displayed on the official website.
