The SRM Institute of Science and Technology has announced the results of SRMJEEE 2021 phase 1 exams today. Candidates who had appeared in the exam can check their results online at the SRM Online Admission Portal. The candidates who took the exam on May 23 and 24, 2021 can check their registered mail for communication regarding the result.
Based on the rank displayed in the result, and choices for courses and colleges submitted by the candidates, allocation of seats will be done during the counselling.
The result was initially supposed to be announced on May 27, 2021, however the announcement was delayed by a day for undisclosed reasons.
With this, SRM becomes one of the first few institutes to announce their engineering entrance exam results for admission in this session. Before SRM, Amrita Vishwavidyapeetham and VTU have announced their engineering entrance exam results for the phases of the exams held till now.
Steps to check result and download rank card are as follows
Step-1: To check the result on the website, go to the SRM online admission portal link. The url is admissions.srmist.edu.in/srmistonline/applicationist/loginManager/youLogin.jsp.
Step-2: On accessing the link, enter the login with user ID and password.
Step-3: Once you have entered the login, the dashboard appears. Now click on the rank card download link.

The result is now displayed on the screen. One can print the rank card too. The result bears the application number, name of the applicant and the rank in SRMJEEE 2021 phase 1.
This year, the exam was held in remote proctored online mode. Until now, phase 1 of the exam has been held, and phase 2 will be on July 25 and 26, 202. Registration for phase 2 is open and will remain so until July 20, 2021. Students not happy with their performance in phase 1, can further take part in the phase 2 examinations.
SRM has also admitted the droppers by creating a separate rank list based on their class 12 marks. Given that many students have been hit by the pandemic, SRM has allowed students who passed 10+2 in 2020, to take admission in the university based on class 12 marks. Such students have been already sent their ranks and choice filling started on May 18, 2021. The rank sent to them was drawn purely based on the class 12 marks submitted by the candidates. Such students were asked to select 3 choices in order of their preference, and the choice filling was open from May 18 – 20, 2021.
Admission to all campuses of SRM will be based on SRMJEEE 2021 results and via a common counselling process. The campuses of SRM are SRM Kattankulathur, SRM Ramapuram campus, SRM Vadapalani campus, SRM Delhi NCR-Ghaziabad, and SRM University Amaravati.
SRJEEE 2021 is a 02 hours and 30 minutes exam. All questions are of MCQ type. The question paper is set in the English language only. There is no negative marking in the exam and each correct answer fetches 01 marks. Questions are asked from Physics, Chemistry, Maths, English, and Aptitude.
Candidates willing to appear for phase 2 of SRMJEEE 2021, can apply online at srmist.edu.in. The application fee is Rs 1100. To apply for SRM Joint Entrance Exam Engineering, candidates need to first do registration, then fill details in the online form, upload documents, and then pay the fee.
my result card appears to be blank and nothing is written in it
