SOA University announces SAAT 2022, Apply Now

Candidates can apply online at soa.ac.in. without paying any application fee. The exam is likely to be conducted in June.

Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA) University, Odisha is all set to conduct the SOA Admission Test (SAAT), 2022. The online application form for the same has been released at soa.ac.in. The official exam date is yet to be announced. However, it is expected to be conducted in the month of June 2022. Candidates can apply for the exam without paying any fee. The SAAT exam is conducted to admit eligible candidates into various Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses in the field of Engineering, Medicine, Agriculture, Law, and Management.

How to apply for SAAT 2022

Step 1: First, visit the website soa.ac.in

Step 2: Click on the ‘Admissions’ tab, visible on the home page.

Step 3: Now, select the ‘Apply through SAAT 2022’ option.

Step 4: Click on the ‘SAAT 2022 Application Form’.

Step 5: Enter personal details, contact details, educational qualifications, and residential address.

Step 6: Finally candidates can upload the photograph.

Step 7: Submit the application form.

Step 8: Candidates can also take a printout of this application form.

The admit card is expected to be released in April on the admission portal of the university. Candidates can log in and download the admit card from the dashboard. The admit card will include the candidate’s personal details, test center address, and exam schedule. It is mandatory to carry the admit card to the exam hall, along with an ID proof. The exam hall will be opened 30 minutes prior to the commencement of the exam.

Exam Pattern

The SAAT exam is to be conducted in online mode, with objective-type questions. Candidates can find the detailed syllabus of various courses on the official website, based on which they can start their preparation. The total number of questions is 120, each carrying 4 marks. There is a negative marking of 1 mark, in case the candidate gives the wrong answer. The total duration of the exam is 3 hours. Candidates can attempt the exam only in English.

Candidates will be admitted based on the final merit list which is prepared on the basis of SAAT score and reservations. Selected candidates will be called up for counseling. The document verification will be done prior to admission. Candidates will have to submit their mark sheets and other documents. Once the merit list is released, candidates have to confirm their seat by paying a fee of Rs. 50,000.
