SBI CBO Notification 2021 Out for 1266 Vacancies; Apply Online by 29 December – Check Eligibility, Age Limit, How to Apply

Candidates are advised to keep the necessary documents mentioned in the notification ready before submitting the online application.

SBI CBO Notification 2021

The State Bank of India (SBI) is inviting online applications for recruiting circle-based officers (CBO). Interested and eligible candidates can start applying from today, December 09, 2021 onwards. The last date for online application is December 29, 2021. Please note that the selected candidates are going to be posted in the applied circle/state only. The detailed SBI CBO notification 2021 is now available to download from sbi.co.in. This particular recruitment will follow three stages namely the online written examination, screening and interview.

Eligibility

In terms of essential educational qualifications, the candidate must be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized university. The date of passing will be the date shown on the mark sheet or provisional certificate. The applicant must further have a minimum of 02 years’ work experience as an officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or a Regional Rural Bank. This will be considered the post essential academic qualification as on December 01, 2021. Depending on the state of residence, the candidate must be proficient in reading, writing and understanding the specified opted language.

Age Limit

Moreover, the candidate should not be below 21 years and not above 30 years as on December 01, 2021. However, applicants from SC or ST category will get a relaxation of 05 years while the OBC (NCL) ones will get 03 years’ relaxation. The relaxation in the upper age limit for PWD category candidates ranges from 10 to 15 years.

How to apply?

The applications for SBI CBO 2021 will be accepted online only. Before starting the application process, applicants must ensure that they have a valid email ID and mobile number. After that, they have to register themselves at bank.sbi/careers. Once the registration is complete, they have to pay the application fee Rs 750 for General, EWS and OBC category candidates. Applicants belonging to SC, ST and PWD categories are exempted from paying any fee.

The documents that need to be uploaded during the online application are as follows.

  • Recent photograph
  • Signature
  • ID Proof
  • Date of Birth proof
  • Job Profile
  • Brief Resume
  • Educational Certificates
  • Experience certificate or appointment letter or job offer letter
  • Form-16 or salary slip

Step 1- Go to bank.sbi/careers and then scroll down the page

Step 2- Click on ‘Current Openings’ and go to ‘Recruitment of Circle Based Officers’

Step 3- Click on the ‘Apply Online’ button click on the link for new registration

Step 4- Follow the next few steps to submit the online application

SBI has announced a total of 1266 vacancies across 5 circles, namely Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Jaipur, located in 6 states.
