The SAAT 2019 Exam dates have been revised recently. The new dates of online SAAT 2019 exam are April 14 to 28, 2019. The offline SAAT 2019 exam will be held on April 27, 2019. Earlier the exam dates were April 13 to 30, 2019 for the online exam and April 21, 2019, for the offline examination.
The reason for changes in the exam dates of SAAT 2019 is yet not clear. No other dates have been revised only the exam dates have been modified. The SAAT 2019 application form is now available and the last date to apply for SAAT 2019 is March 31, 2019.
The application form is available in the online mode only. There is no other mode to apply for the entrance exam of Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA), deemed to be University. One important feature of the SAAT 2019 registration is that there is no application fee for the exam.
SAAT 2019 exam will be held in both online and offline mode. The offline SAAT 2019 exam that has been postponed from April 21, 2019, to April 27, 2019, will be held in the state if Odisha only. However, the online SAAT 2019 exam whose revised dates are April 14 to 28, 2019, will be held all over the nation.
The SAAT 2019 online exam will be held across 31 cities of the nation and the offline SAAT 2019 exam will be held across 22 cities in the state of Odisha.
SAAT 2019 exam is the entrance exam for admission in one of the most preferred engineering colleges in the state of Odisha – Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA). Those candidates who have passed or will be appearing (in the year 2019) in 10+2 are eligible to apply for the SAAT 2019 exam.
However, the minimum percentage of marks required to appear for the SAAT 2019 exam is 45% for the general category candidates and 40% marks for the reserved category candidates.
Apart from the SAAT 2019 exam, candidates are also granted admission in the college on the basis of JEE Main scores too for the UG Engineering programmes. Ge the SPG engineering programmes GATE scores are also considered.
There are 7 UG engineering programmes offered at SOA and 7 departments of PG engineering programmes ate SOA. Admission to all these courses is based on pure merit of SAAT 2019 or JEE Main 2019 examination.
The SOA 2019 admission is based on result declaration of the respective entrance examination, followed by counselling rounds by the college itself. The result of the SAAT 2019 exam is scheduled to be declared on May 04, 2019. The counselling will be held on May 12, 2019.
