Rajasthan University for Health Sciences (RUHS) has released the online application form for entrance exam 2019-20 for Faculty of Nursing, Paramedical, and Physiotherapy. Forms are available for seven courses namely BSc Nursing, Post Basic BSc Nursing, MSc Nursing, Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT), Para-Medical UG Courses (BRT, BOphT, BScMLT), MSc Radiotherapy Technology, PG Diploma in Perfusion Technology. Last date to apply is October 4, 2019.
Candidates who apply for MSc Nursing, Post Basic BSc Nursing, MSc Radiotherapy Technology, PG Diploma in Perfusion Technology and are in service can submit hard copy of the form by October 9, 2019. The date for computer based test will be announced in some time. As of now, the university plans to hold the exam in second week of October.
Candidates applying for B.Sc nursing and post basic B.Sc nursing have to submit an application fee of Rs 1,500. Whereas the fee is Rs 750 for SC, ST, PH candidates. Candidates applying for M.Sc Nursing have to submit an application fee of Rs 3,000 or Rs 1,500 in case of SC, ST, PH candidates. Same fee amount applies to BPT and paramedical courses. The payment of the fee has to be done by any one among credit card, debit card, net banking, e-Mitra.
In order to register, candidates have to visit the official website ruhsraj.org. Over the home page, click on the link “Online Application form for Registration of Entrance Exam for Session 2019-20 for the Faculty of Nursing, Para-Medical & Physiotherapy” under latest news. Then click on the name of the course for which you want to fill the online application form for RUHS 2019-2020. On respective exam page, you will see information booklet, instructions to fill online application form, syllabus, and notification. Click on next to proceed to apply.
Candidates are advised to go through each of the links carefully and then proceed with the registration process. For new registration, enter email ID. Then fill all details in the online form. After having filled all the parts, take a print out of the application form for future reference.
Before applying for any of the nursing courses of RUHS 2019 entrance exam and admission, candidates need to ensure of the eligibility criteria. For B.Sc nursing, it is required to pass class 12 with PCB by securing atleast 45% or 40% for SC and ST, in English with PCB. Candidate should be between 17 to 28 years old in case of females, and 17 to 25 years old in case of males, as on December 31, 2019.
RUHS has designed separate exam pattern for each courses. The paper for B.Sc nursing will be of two hours duration containing 100 MCQs based on biology, physics, and chemistry. The qualifying candidates after exam, have to download the option form, undertaking form, seat matrix and guidelines from RUHS website. Candidates will be allotted in the nursing colleges based on merit, seats available and order of options filled by the candidate in the option form.
