East Coast Railway, Railway Recruitment Cell Bhubaneswar (RRCBBS) has released the admit card for General Departmental Competitive Examination (GDCE) on its official website, rrcbbs.org.in. The computer based written exam will be held in the coming week, from September 23 to 29, 2019.
RRCBBS GDCE Admit Card 2019 is available for download at rrcbbs.org.in. Railway employees who have applied for the exam, and if their names are in the final eligibility list, then they can go to the website and click the link that says “Click here for download the GDCE-2019 call letter”.
This leads to rrcecor.cbtexam.in. Here, enter login ID, password to get the admit card. Candidates may contact helpline numbers 9453819497, 9453827201 between 9 am to 6 pm on weekdays from Monday to Saturday. Applicants who have forgotten their password can click the forgot password button and enter application number to get / reset it.
Exam dates for the computer based exam for the general departmental competitive exam were notified against notification no. ECoR/RRC/GDCE/2019.
The first two exam dates are September 23, 2019, and September 25, 2019. On these dates, from 8.30 am to 10.30 am, exam will be held for junior engineer of mechanical and allied engineering, electrical and allied engineering, electronics and allied engineering. Reporting time is 7 am. Then NTPC goods guard exam will be from 12.30 pm to 2 pm, with reporting time 11 am. And NTPC under graduate exam is from 4.30 pm to 6 pm, with reporting time 3 pm.
Then the next exam date is September 27, 2019. Test for JE for all four groups mechanical, electrical, telecom and civil is from 8.30 am to 10.30 am, with 7 am reporting time. NTPC goods guard test is from 12.30 pm to 2 pm, and candidates should report by 11 am. From 4.30 pm to 6 pm, test for NTPC under graduate will be held and these candidates should report by 3 pm.
The last exam date is September 29, 2019. Technician III post exam will be held on this date from 10.30 am to 1 pm. Reporting time for the same is 9 am.
RRCBBS has declared the exam dates of only JE, NTPC goods guard, and NTPC undergraduate. The dates for junior clerk cum typist, technician III, commercial cum ticket clerk is yet to be out shortly.
The CBT for GDCE exam will comprise of multiple choice questions from general awareness, arithmetic, general intelligence, reasoning, and technical questions. The question paper will be set in English and Hindi. For any incorrect answer, 1/3th of marks will be deducted. Candidates who have qualified in the CBT test will be called for document verification.
General Departmental Competitive Examination (GDCE) in East Coast Railway, Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), is for a total of 310 vacancies. Out of which 12 are for junior clerk cum typist post, 65 for technician III, 48 in commercial cum ticket clerk, 93 in goods guard, 63 in JE / Civil , 13 in JE / Mechanical, 11 in JE / Electrical, and 05 in JE / S&T. Candidates selected for junior cum typist, and technician III post will be offered in a pay scale 2,commercial cum ticket clerk in a pay scale level 3, NTPC goods guard at a pay scale level 5, JE (civil, mechanical, electrical, S & T) in a pay scale level 6.
