Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) Kolkata has published the entire schedule for document verification and medical examination. The schedule is in the form of a pdf file containing roll numbers, DV date, time, and reporting time. Candidates who were declared qualified for DV ME as per the RRB JE CBT 2 result, can now know their DV dates and attend the same.
To download the schedule, visit rrbkolkata.gov.in, which redirects to examprog.com/rail/rrb/index.php. Then click the link against DV and Medical Examination schedule of candidates shortlisted.
Regarding the DV call letter, all the RRBs have a single common link for DV call letter download, that is rrbonlinereg.in/CBTDV0318/frmLogin.aspx. Candidates need to go to the page, login with registration number and date of birth in order to get their admit cards.
RRB Kolkata has identified dates starting from November 18, 2019, to December 19, 2019 for DV and ME processes. On each day, the processes will happen in two sessions, forenoon and afternoon. Depending upon the slot allotted, candidates need to attend them.
For the forenoon session, reporting time is 9 am, and for afternoon session it is 2 pm.
December 9, 2019 to December 20, 2019 are block dates for RRB Kolkata JE DV, ME processes. In the block dates, the board will allow those candidates to come for the processes who could not attend them on the assigned dates. This provision is only if there was any extreme emergency, for which candidates should provide documentary evidence. Not attending document verification on assigned date, as well as block date, will lead to immediate rejection.
All the shortlisted candidates have to report at the reporting center given on their e- call letter which is available on the official website. Board may also send an imitation of the same at registered mobile and email id.
Candidates tend to do mistakes at the time of the verification. Therefore, the board has released some instructions for them to follow. First is that applicants have to reach the reporting center with the original documents (as per their case) only. Wherever original documents are necessary, photostat of the same shall not suffice. Candidates also have to bring their e-call letter because without this there won’t be any entry inside the venue. On the day of the verification if applicants turn up with a missing document then they will be disqualified right away.
Candidates may not have their reporting center near to their home. Because of that, they have to travel to the place of the reporting center and might have to stay a few days. In that situation, the board will not provide any kind of financial assistance. However, SC/ST candidates will get some kind of travel allowances for that.
After the document verification, the board will move on to the medical examination. Candidates appearing for that will have to pay an amount of Rs. 24/- only. However, it won’t be held right away after the document verification. But applicants will be informed of the venue, date and time there.
