Indian Railway to Start RPF Female Constables Recruitment 2018 for 10000 vacancies

As the safety of women is a great concern across India, Indian Railway has decided to recruit 10000 female constable. As per the reports, the recruitment of RPF Female Constable will start by the end of this year. Railway Minister has recently announced nearly 90,000 vacancies for the constable under RPF. Out of which these 10,000 vacancies will be especially available for the female candidates.

According to the present scenario, the availability of female constables under RPF/RPSF are less in number. The Railway Ministry has received a large number of complaints regarding the continuous crime happening in trains with women. Hence, after the completion of the female constable recruitment process, Indian Railways will provide RPF Female Escort in trains, so that the crime against women’s can be decreased.

The RPF recruitment is for those candidates who are at least matriculation passed from a recognized Board or equivalent. Recently, RPF is also conducting recruitment for 9739 Sub Inspector and Constables as well. If the process for the recruitment of female constables will be the same then the recruitment will be done in 4 stages. The stage 1 will be the computer based test (CBT), followed by physical efficiency test (PET), physical measurement test (PMT), and lastly, document verification. The CBT for RPF Female Constable 2018 recruitment will take place in online mode only.

The registration for the recruitment will open by the end of this year. Female candidates who wish to apply will have make sure that they are physically fit and fulfill the to be announced eligibility criteria.

Railway Recruitment 2018 is one of the biggest recruitment this year. In all, there are 2.5 lakh vacancies in Railway. Out of this, 62907 vacancies are open for RRB Group D, 26502 for ALP / Technician and 9739 for RPF SI and Constable. Under the ongoing RPF Constable Recruitment 2018, 4403 vacancies are for the male candidates and 4216 for the female candidates.
