The Rashtriya Military School conducted the Common Entrance Test (CET) for admissions to Class 6 and 9 today, April 03, at various centers in the country. The examination was conducted in an offline OMR based mode from 9:00 am to 11:30 am. CET is conducted to provide admissions to the wards of defense personnel and civilians to various military schools at Chail (Himachal Pradesh), Ajmer (Rajasthan), Belgaum (Karnataka), Bengaluru and Dholpur. Qualifying students will have to undergo a medical examination as the next step of admission.
RMS CET 2022 Unofficial Answer Key
The official answer keys of the CET examination will be released only a few days after the conduct of the examination. Students can access the answer keys from the official website of RMS rashtriyamilitaryschools.edu.in once it is released. Meanwhile, various educators have released unofficial answer keys on their Youtube channels soon after the exam has concluded.

Students can use the answer key to estimate their marks in the written examination.
For Class 6, students have to secure a minimum qualifying mark of 35% in English and 40% each in Intelligence test, Mathematics, and General Knowledge. For Class 9, the minimum qualifying mark is 50% in each of Paper 1 and Paper 2.
RMS CET Result and Merit List
The candidates who qualify in the written examination will be called for an interview in one of the military schools. The interview will be for 20 marks for Class 6 and 50 marks for Class 9. The marks of the interview will be added to the scores of the written test to prepare the final merit list. Candidates will then have to undergo a medical examination at the allotted medical hospital to prove their fitness. Those declared medically unfit during the examination will not be granted admission to Rashtriya Military Schools. The final result will be uploaded on the official website of RMS rashtriyamilitaryschools.edu.in. Qualifying candidates will be allotted admission on the basis of vacancies available in each school and the reservation criteria.
