DRDO CVRDE Recruitment 2021

After a long waiting period, the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers, (REET) 2020 is finally going to be conducted. Rajasthan Education Minister, Mr Gobind Singh Dotasara announced on Sunday that the REET 2020 exam is scheduled to be held in February 2021. The official notification of the state level recruitment examination is expected to release in the next month i.e. November 2020. As per media reports, the REET 2020 exam will be conducted for recruitment to fill up 31000 vacancies for the post of Grade III Teachers in the state of Rajasthan. The much-awaited media announcement is now a ray of hope for more than 10 lakh candidates who will take part in the exam after waiting for 2 long years.

The REET exam was last conducted in the year 2017. State Education Minister Mr Dotasara indicated in media statements that the Chief Minister Gehlot has approved the proposal of conducting REET 2020 exam. It is only a matter of a few weeks before the procedure for conducting the REET 2020 recruitments will commence in the next month.

Dotasara added that considerations are underway for relaxations in the qualifying marks for eligibility. Such relaxations will be made available for candidates belonging to certain reserved categories. As such, the procedure for amendment of the rules of the existing exam is underway. As soon as the process is completed this month, the Ministry will issue official orders to the Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan to commence the procedure of conducting REET 2020.

The examination has been proposed to be conducted in February 2021. However, with the issue of the official orders, the Secondary Education Board is expected to release the official notification at rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in. in the month of November 2020. Simultaneously, the application process for the exam is also expected to be conducted in the same month. Incidentally, during the previous iteration of the recruitment exam, the official notification came out in November while the exam was conducted in February only.

Reportedly, more than 10 lakh candidates have been eagerly waiting for the conduct of the exam to fill up these vacancies. Chief Minister Gehlot earlier approved the recruitment to fill up 31000 vacancies for the post of Grade III Teacher in Rajasthan indicating that the government was underway to conduct the REET exam this year.

Candidates interested in appearing in the REET 2020 exam are advised to keep a tab on the official website of the conducting body i.e. Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan for all the lastest updates in this regard.
