Reserve Bank of India, Patna has published an official notification to engage eligible candidates as Medical Consultant. As per the notification, RBI has announced openings for 07 posts. Applications from eligible candidates are invited through online mode before October 09, 2020, by 05:00 PM. Interested aspirants can download the notification from the official website of the conducting body, rbi.org.in.
The recruitment for Medical Consultant is on contractual basis. Their engagement period is for 03 years only. Out of the total 07 vacancies, 05 are announced for General category, 01 is for OBC category and 01 is for SC category. Candidates who get selected for the aforementioned post are posted at Patna. They are paid of Rs.850/- per hour and a sum of Rs. 1000/- per month as conveyance expenses.
To apply for the Medical Consultant post, applicants should possess MBBS degree of any University that is recognized by the Medical Council of India. Candidates who possess a Master’s degree in General Medicine can also apply for the said post. Those who have a minimum of 02 years of post-qualification work experience practising Allopathic System of Medicine can apply.
Applicants who are eligible as per the prescribed eligibility criteria must apply for this post. They have to submit the application form for Medical Consultant recruitment through an offline process. The filled-in application form must reach the Regional Director, Human Resource Management Department, Recruitment Section, Reserve Bank of India, Patna – 800001. The sealed cover of the envelope should be superscribed with the ‘Application for the post of Medical Consultant on a contract basis with fixed hourly remuneration’.
In the application form, candidates have to provide details such as the personal details, Approximate distance from the Bank’s Dispensary, Date of Birth, Work experience (if any), and others as asked. Mere submission of application form is not entertained by the conducting body. The form should be accompanied by the relevant educational qualification certificate, caste certificate, relevant certificate from OBC candidates, age proof, work experience proof.
RBI conducts an interview to shortlist candidates. The schedule for the interview will be intimated to candidates later on the official website.
