RailTel Corporation of India Ltd (RAILTEL) is conducting a recruitment drive to engage eligible candidates for the Apprenticeship Training. As per the notification, the conducting body is looking for candidates for the 68 vacant posts of Apprentices. Graduates and Diploma engineers can apply for the advertised posts before the last date which is January 11, 2021. The conducting body has announced the Apprenticeship recruitment for the Electronics and Telecommunications Computer Sciences, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering field. Shortlisted candidates have to undergo a one-year apprenticeship training as well. This training will be conducted in various locations of Kolkata, Secunderabad/ Hyderabad and its territories, Delhi, Mumbai or other location on Pan India basis. Under this training, they will receive a monthly salary of Rs. 14,000/- for graduate engineers and Rs. 12,000/- for Diploma Engineers.

To apply for the recruitment, candidates must have full time regular four years graduation in Engineering/ Technology or Full time Regular three years Diploma in Engineering/ Technology with minimum 60% marks. The educational qualification should have attained in Electronics and Telecommunications Computer Sciences, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering fields only. However, experienced candidates or those who have undergone training are not eligible for this recruitment. Those who are terminated from apprenticeship training or completed their apprenticeship training are also not eligible for RailTel recruitment.
Candidates also have to make sure that they meet the age limit criteria. They must have attained the minimum age limit of 18 years and not exceed 27 years while applying. The age calculated as on November 30, 2020. Furthermore, RailTel practises the reservation policy by exercising upper age relaxation.
Eligible candidates can submit online applications for RailTel recruitment via railtelindia.com. Before that, candidates have to register themselves via Board of Apprenticeship Training (BOAT), mhrdnats.gov.in. Once done, registered aspirants can then proceed to submit the online application for the RailTel recruitment. Also, keep a resume beforehand as it is required while submitting the online application form. Other than this, candidates are suggested to keep a scanned copy of qualifying degree with them before applying online.
Once the application procedure is over, RailTel invites eligible candidates for the interview round. The exact interview date will be intimated to eligible candidates later on via website/ email. Based on the performance in the interview, applicants will be finally appointed for the Apprenticeship training.
