On Friday i.e. on March 22, 2019, the students of Punjab Board class 10 appeared for Mathematics exam. Students got confused when they saw one question missing on the question paper. On the paper, the students did not get the question number 22. In Maths exam, one question was not there in Set C. It was a four mark question. However, the question was printed in the Hindi and Punjab version. But it was not available in the English version question paper.
A meeting was held in the branch office regarding the solution to this problem. After a lot of discussions, they came with the solution to provide 4 grace marks to the candidates who attempted the Set C of English question paper.
A few days earlier, the students of class 8 also faced the issued regarding the question paper. On March 14, 2019, the students were supposed to enroll for the Social Science exam while they got the question paper of Punjabi. Due to the mistake of the printing firm, the students got the wrong question paper and the exam centres then solved this problem by providing the Social Science question paper to the students one hour later.
As per the date sheet of PSEB Class 10, the exams started on March 15, 2019. The last date of the exams is April 02, 2019. The exams begin at 10:00 am and finish at 1:15 pm. The students will be given 3 hours to complete the exams.
For class 12, the board rescheduled the date sheet. The exams began on March 01, 2019. The students will appear for the last exam on April 01, 2019. The date sheet of the senior secondary is available for the streams such as Science, Commerce, and Arts.
The Punjab School Education Board came into existence under the legislative enactment in November 1969. The board was established with the aim of providing the school education at the state level. The board is well known as PSEB. Annually, PSEB conducts the examinations at the secondary and the senior secondary level.
