Panjab University has released the PU LLB exam date for the entrance exam conducted for admission to LLB three years course. The university has released a notice as per which the PU LLB 2022 exam is going to be held on July 31, 2022. The exam shall be held in a single shift from 10 am to 11.30 am. The university has notified the exam dates for the entrance exams held for admission to different courses.
Candidates who have completed their Graduation in any of the streams from a recognised university are eligible to appear for the PU LLB 2022 exam. Post qualifying for the exam, the candidates get admission in the PG Law course having a duration of three years. PU LLB 2022 exam is scheduled to be held in Chandigarh and Ludhiana.
PU LLB 2022 Exam Pattern
The PU LLB exam is going to be held in the offline mode for 100 questions. The exam shall be held for a duration of 90 minutes from General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Reasoning Ability and Knowledge of English and Legal Aptitude. The language of the question paper shall be English, Hindi and Punjabi. The university also released the marking scheme as per that, a negative marking of 0.25 marks shall be applicable for wrong answers.
PU LLB 2022 Seat Intake
As per the previous year’s notification, the university offers 480 seats in different colleges. Out of 480 seats, 300 seats have been offered by the Department of Laws, PU, Chandigarh. The remaining 180 seats are divided equally between PU Regional Centre, Muktsar, University Institute of Legal Studies, Panjab University Swami Sarvanand Giri Regional Centre, Hoshiarpur and University Institute of Law, Panjab University Regional Centre, Ludhiana.
The final selection is made on the basis of marks scored by the candidates in the PU LLB 2022 exam. The candidates who belong to the unreserved category have to score at least 20% of the total marks. Also, the reserved category students have to score at least 15% of the total marks.
