After officially announcing the release of the Class 8 and Class 10 result 2021, Punjab School Education Board has updated the link to check the result on the official website now. As per earlier reports, PSEB Chairman Yogesh Sharma while speaking to the press indicated that the result has been declared yesterday. However, the link to check the result of PSEB Class 8 and Class 10 March 2021 exams has been updated today i.e. on May 18, 2021.
Those who registered for the Punjab Secondary Education Board’s March 2021 Class 8 and Class 10 final exams this year can check their result on the official website pseb.ac.in now. Earlier, media houses quoted Chairman Y.Sharma announcing that the result has been released and 99.87% and 99.93% candidates have passed in Class 8 and Class 10 finals respectively. However, the link to check the result has been updated on the website now.
Candidates can search their result on the official website using Roll Number or Name on the official web portal pseb.ac.in. Once on the homepage of the website, candidates have to scroll down to the latest news section where the direct link to check the result of Class 10 and Class 8 finals is provided.
By clicking on the link Matriculation/Middle Exam Result 2021, candidates are automatically redirected to a login page. Here, separate listings to check the Matriculation i.e. Class 10 March 2021 results and Middle Exam i.e. Class 8 March 2021 results are provided. Those who intend to check the result can do so by searching for their result on the portal.
After clicking on the result link of respective examinations, candidates are redirected to a new page. Here, candidates have to either enter their name or roll number and search for the result. The result, is immediately available for download as a soon as candidates find them using the roll number/name.
Candidates can also get the PSEB result of Class 10 on mobile. For this, they have to send an SMS “PB10 <roll number> to 5676750”. As per the announcement by the Chairman earlier, government schools in Punjab has fared better than private schools in the state. It may be noted that the Board did not conduct the Class 8 and Class 10 final exams this year. Instead, candidates were evaluated on the basis of marks secured in Internal Assessments.
As per earlier reports, out of 307272 registered candidates, 306893 candidates have passed the Class 8 March 2021 exams of PSEB. On the other hand, out of 321384 registered candidates, 321161 candidates have passed the Class 10 March 2021 exams.
