Pt BD Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak invites applications on plain paper to fill up 183 vacancies of senior residents, demonstrators on tenure basis of 6 months in 35 specialities of Pt. BD Sharma Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (PGIMS) Rohtak for a period of 6 months or till tenure (3 years) incumbent joins, whichever is earlier.
Interested and eligible candidates must apply in such a way that their form with certificates and testimonials in support of educational qualification, permanent registration with MCI or SMC, DOB proof, thesis grading proof, UG/PG attempt certificate, paper published and any other document, should reach the authorities by December 12, 2019, 5 pm.

Senior resident vacancies are in departments namely anesthesiology, cardiology, general medicine, obst and gynae, nephrology, neonatology, PCCM, paediatrics, CTVS, radiodiagnosis, cardiac surgery, skin and VD, general surgery, rheumatology, surgical gastrology, TB and respiratory medicine, ENT, accident and emergency, RI Ophthalmology, paediatric surgery, neurology, surgical oncology, medical gastroenterology, community medicine, radiation oncology, orthopedics, sports medicine, psychiatry. Respective number of vacancies in these departments are 43, 4, 10, 11, 2, 6, 3, ,6 ,1 ,7 ,2, 1, 14, 1, 1, 1, 3, 17, 4, 2 1, 2, 1, 1, 2, 2, 1, 3.
Demonstrator vacancies are in anatomy, biochemistry, forensic medicine, pharmacology, physiology, blood transfusion, pathology. With 5, 4, 6, 6, 6, 4, 3 vacancies respectively.
The salary that will be offered shall be Rs 67,700 + 13,540 NPA to MD, MS, DNB degree holders, Rs 17,440 + 5400 + NPA +DA to PG Diploma holder, PG (MD/MS tenure completion of 3 years. Non PG MBBS / M.Sc (Medical) will get Rs 17440 + 5400 + DA.
To be a senior resident, PGIMS requires one to have MBBS. MD / MS / DNB in concerned subject as well. If MD/MS candidates are not available then those with diploma in concerned subject or training experience of 3 years as PG student in subject will be considered for appointment.
MD sports medicine, MS ortho[aedics, MD physical medicine and rehabilitation, DNB sports medicine, MD physiology with 2 years experiences in sports medicine are some of the qualifications that will be accepted for Sports Medicine Senior Resident vacancies.
Demonstrator post is open for candidates with MBBS. Preference will be given to those with postgraduation. Anatomy, biochemistry, physiology, pharmacology are few subjects where candidates with M.Sc medical qualifications can also apply.
Senior resident or demonstrators should not be less than 22 years old, and should not be more than 40 years old as on the last date to apply.
